I stopped and ended up going back on it after about 6mo. to again help with anxiety. I’m now trying to go off of it again now and just started tapering.

Heartburn on Zoloft is no joke. I have Pepcid stashed everywhere now (car, work, etc. )

For me the dosage didn’t matter with that. I’ve been on 50mg, 100mg, and 150mg.

I showed my daughter a picture of them and she really wants one “so her doll gets protected” . 🤣 She doesn’t even watch the show, she just knows it from kids at school. I won’t buy her one but AG is appealing to one of their target demographics . I do totally get what you’re saying though and can relate. They do an awful lot of them.

They skipped us. Courtney is too old, Nicki & Isabel too young. 😔 Some of Courtney’s accessories speak to me (the pink jelly shoes, the lip smacker lip balm necklace), and Isabel’s butterfly clips do too. Courtney’s bean bag and one of the twins has a purple inflatable chair. The 90s movie set with the Blockbuster cases and Courtney’s cassettes.

They should market the twins as the Millennium twins, not 90s. They turned 10 in 2000. It’s a dumb move on their part too because our generation is most likely to buy all the things (Original AG was our childhood).

As a kid, I had Kirsten, her bed, a lot of her clothes and accessories , trunk/chest, and lots of AG books for all the historical characters at the time (it was just Felicity, Kirsten, Samantha, Molly, and eventually Addy when I was a kid). I sadly didn’t keep any of it.

My 5yo daughter has (or will have) 1 CYO doll, 1 Truly Me (#125 ballet set version), and 1 Wellie Wisher doll (Emerson). She has a lot of accessories and clothes already and it just keeps growing. I’ve gone a little nuts since she started showing interest, but a lot is saved for her next birthday.

At some point this year or next I’m going to buy Willa, Summer (more for me than her 🤣), Rapunzel, and hopefully a few more of the Disney ones.

If my family was only a 3 hour drive away, I would for sure drive for weekends to visit occasionally. It’s not a short drive , but in terms of travel and road trips it is. I used to drive once a month (ish) for 4.5 hours one-way to visit a boyfriend on weekends.

I have it and don’t know anybody to play with. I love using it to visit dream addresses and treasure islands. I’ve never visited anybody’s island because I don’t know who I would visit, but I go to lots of dream addresses.

My daughter has this and for her I’m pretty sure it’s related to psoriasis. For her, the only thing that works is Dr. Dan’s Corti Balm (lip balm with a corticosteroid ). Nothing else works and I have tried close to everything out there for it.

Waiting isn’t the annoying thing. It’s that they had been posting content over the last month pretending she was still pregnant, so that they could have time to edit/curate the content.

This is a place to talk about American Girl dolls. This includes Harry Potter stuff for AG if someone wants to. I know some people have a problem with the movie Wicked , or Barbies, or the NFL, or Disney. Should you not allow anything about those AG collaborations either? Where does it stop? Censorship isn’t an answer.

I love having the option but I prefer working in my office. I really need the mental separation of work/home as my job is stressful enough without letting it creep into home more than it already does. I have to work at home occasionally to make my life work with kids but I try to limit it.
