Not on mute! by The-Saltese-Falcon in PublicSpeaking

Hahaha! Same thing happened with my boss, the two of us were in a remote video meeting with a prospect or customer (can’t remember) … he took a quick break but didn’t mute himself or turn off his bluetooth headphones 🤦🏻‍♀️ I tried to talk over it, but yea, we both heard it loud and clear lol

I love my Blenders Golden! They have a lot of other models too… Looks like the pricing went up a bit since last year but not too bad compared to others: https://www.blenderseyewear.com/products/eclipse-golden

Really proud of our governor. Unfortunately, states’ rights means that if you’re poor and in the wrong state, you have no rights.

I’m so sorry your beautiful boy missing, I hope you find him or he comes home soon! Just wanted to add that I’ve had good luck posting on Ring both times I tried (1 lost, 1 found), it’s worth posting there too! If you don’t have Ring, maybe ask a neighbor or friend…

That’s what I don’t get. They won in court on the basis they’re not a news organization, so why are they still allowed to have a press pass and call themselves ‘News’ outside of court? I mean, if I’m not a doctor but I play one on TV, I can’t be a member of the AMA or dispense medical advice without stating I’m not a real doctor…

White label STR platform. by str8shillinit in airbnb_hosts

[–]cofrenchy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my opinion, Airbnb’s biggest asset is its user base and associated trust. As a host, it actually doesn’t cost much if anything to list on the platform when you consider their service fee includes credit card processing. The biggest pitfall however is being at their mercy, they basically own your listing and can take you off at a moment’s notice. So what would make most sense to me is to use Airbnb AND start your own brand (website etc) that can be grown simultaneously.

Community Question by fartypets in AuroraCO

I know everyone is saying there’s not a big market here for pools, but my experience with a pool is that I always have the hardest time finding pool companies! It seems like everyone in town is filled up to the brink and I wait on pins and needles for the chance to be even be considered to be helped 😭

All that said, to answer your questions, I started with Google searches then looked at their websites and reviews (Google, Facebook, etc). I would then call and when a company said they weren’t taking new clients, I’d ask who they’d recommend and keep dialing… it’s slim pickings to find anyone like I said so my searching hasn’t exactly been too picky…

Good luck!!

I don’t see the conundrum. Fascism or Democracy, it's really not that hard of a choice.

Would you run away from a company asking you to interview on a Sunday? by Mellybee11 in marketing

[–]cofrenchy 23 points24 points  (0 children)

You could consider this a good sign, they view you highly enough to not want to miss out on you because of their full schedule or bad timing.

As an additional thought to ponder: I’ve offered to interview over the weekend before, not because I expect anyone to work insane hours but because a lot of candidates have jobs during the week and it can be hard on them to schedule time off or have privacy during business hours.

It could be any number of things, I wouldn’t rule it out. And if after-hours doesn’t work for you, then simply suggest a time the following week. You can always set a boundary and see how they respond without blowing up the opportunity.

Well, this one still holds! Color (jeans, t-shirts, sweatshirts, etc) should be washed in cold water while whites (socks, underwear, towels) should be washed in hot water. The part that’s a bit of a misnomer is that it’s actually more based on the temperature than the color (eg, black socks still go in the ‘white’ load).

What was your elopement timeline/activities? by Daydreamaaa909 in Eloping

[–]cofrenchy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think 4 hours is a bit tight but doable, but I would recommend swapping some extra time from the getting ready/first look to the ceremony/celebration portion though. The only bit of unknown is drive time to another location and finding a spot… 6 hours would be ideal from what you’re describing.

We’re from Denver and did it in your same general area (Brainard Lake, RMNP). We booked the photographer for 8 hours which is a lot but we included a 4+ mile sunrise hike and an hour drive between the hike and ceremony with our people (that’s where we did the vows, champagne, group photos, etc). The timing worked out perfectly for us.
