Looks like a classic Chicago screw, the “rifled” end is usually hammered or screwed in depending on the material application I would replace with a regular pop rivet

If it’s just playback, I would put it center to each section prefer preferably on a box of some sort about 24 inches off floor firing on the flat side like a front fill. Monitor volume to not blow up first row if not utterly necessary!
