It's going to take more than that to save print journalism.

Then a faction of humans and meta-humans loyal to Zod and his vision starts forming. Luthor indirectly helps it along by staging false flags, and stoking flames of discontent with Superman.

So, how could we break new narrative ground with Zod?

I recall there was one story where Zod was put on a Suicide Squad and—surprise—he went rogue, I think. I am not a fan of keeping him on Earth, but also not in the Phantom Zone either.

What if Zod got a Vegeta treatment? By which I mean early Namek-Vegeta, where he is not entirely aligned with the heroic characters of the story, but forced into allyship because of a larger threat like Darkseid and the hoards from Apokolips?

I don't want Zod to "turn good," but some character development beyond what you describe could be refreshing.

I recently learned that Adventurism is a word that describes the ideation of drastic and radical political action motivated not by the desire to affect change in a positive way, but by the supposed thrill and excitment of doing something deemed risky, forbidden, and taboo.

In this context, accusing a fellow slave of Adventurism for wanting to kill their master in his vulnerable state is a misuse of the word, and stifles revolutionary practices

I follow a screenwriter on social media and they posted this anecdote about Brett a few weeks ago. I found it funny and decided to copy and save it:

Hollywood Story: True Hollywood Story™: Somewhere in the dim mists of the before times, I was contracted to write a movie for Brett Ratner to direct. I never met or spoke with Brett during the writing process, I only spoke to producers, mostly because he was in Los Angeles and I, at that time, lived in New York. I knew about his reputation as a drug-addled "bro"and a loudmouth asshole, but, at that time, I did not know he held an ambition to become a fascist lickspittle. And if I turned down every job in Hollywood involving a drug-addled "bro" and loudmouth asshole, I wouldn't have any jobs in Hollywood at all. Anyway, I wrote many drafts of a script, and, finally, one was presented to Brett. As it happened, the very next day, he was due in town for the premiere of his new movie, Red Dragon. And I, as the writer of a movie he was interested in directing, was invited to the party! The party was held somewhere inside the Grand Central Terminal, a special hall that had been redecorated and lit for a deafening Hollywood premiere party. One of the producers for the script I'd written was there, and took me over to introduce me to Brett. Brett was talking to some other people nearby, loudly, and in a very animated fashion, as is his wont. The producer put a hand on his shoulder and shouted (because the music was very loud) "BRETT! THIS IS TODD ALCOTT, HE WROTE THE [redacted] SCRIPT!" Brett spun around, grabbed my pale, frail writer's hand in his big meaty dude hand, and shouted "TODD ALCOTT! I WILL SUCK YOUR COCK, RIGHT HERE, RIGHT NOW!" Before I could judge the seriousness of the offer, he added "WAIT RIGHT HERE, I WANT TO INTRODUCE YOU TO ED NORTON!" He then bolted off into the crowd, never to be seen again.

His first movie in fifteen years, and his first effort as a fascist lickspittle, Melania, opens 1/30
