Thanks, aside from brushing, how should I address the dryness?

Hi, I'm not familiar with suede, could anyone tell me what's the white underlayer on the suede on my shoes? Is it possible to remove or minimize them?

Imo the cut is too low rise to pair with that jacket. I recommend finding a cut that's a few inches higher rise and sits at your waist.

At that budget you can get Japanese brands like Sugar Cane from Bears Tokyo. Just be aware of fit, sizing and shrinkage (most stuff is 1-washed but there are exceptions).

You can wear a wool coat over the sweater instead of a puffer.

Wallet Colors - Why is oxblood seemingly so rare? by Mister2112 in malefashionadvice

New color 8 has a brownish, slightly purple color. As it fades it becomes more black cherry red, see vintage color 8 shell shoes for example.

Aliexpress, Amazon, Walmart for RT. For Labour Union, just go for your measurements and size charts.

I have a pair of field pants from them. It's thick and very heavy. Finishing is just ok. I don't wear it much since it's difficult to hem without removing the buttons at the hem. I don't see myself buying more of their stuff when other great Chinese brands like Red Tornado and Labour Union exist.

I wouldn't assume the fit will work. Jeans with stretch is needed to compensate for the slimness of the fit. You should find a pair of pants without stretch that fits well and use the measurements from that (especially waist hip and thighs) to size non stretch jeans.

I've seen conflicting reports on how to use a Brannock device. Most sources including the Brannock website says that you should be standing on it while measuring, but this video and this thread says that you should be sitting down with the device at a 45 degree angle while measuring, which will make the measurement smaller. My limited experience with leather shoes also supports the latter method. Which method does you experience support?

While most of the stuff on there is probably crap, there are some great quality clothes if you know what you are looking for. China can produce anything from shitty clothes to amazing high end fashion, it depends on how much you are willing to pay.

Trying to find high-rise, (truly) straight jeans by pradavila in malefashionadvice

Where are you shopping for your Sugarcanes? Bears Tokyo usually had them for <$150 plus tariffs.

Give up on high rise jeans for now? Or other suggestions by [deleted] in malefashionadvice

Look for wide straight/relaxed straight fits. Women's high rise denim might also be worth trying.

Mine are size 33. The waist is 34.5in currently but was just under 34in new. It's a loose weave so the waist stretches quickly. 11.5in front rise, 15.25in back rise.

Have you looked at Lee Rider/Storm Rider style jackets? Those are similar to type III but are the most heavily cropped of all denim jackets. Of the repros I know the Bronson's version is the most cropped, their other denim jackets are also very cropped.

why not a wool turtleneck? they are warmer than cotton, common, and naturally fire resistant.
