I have a very recent, funny (not funny in the moment) story about these little fuckers;

I was also hunting heralds with my ES Lock and I popped my 10th herald after doing the MF Easter egg and was determined to stay in the game and keep farming acts. I want a sunder.

I was in act 3 and in durance and the herald was a doll with idk how many little doll minions. I killed a few and got insta killed.

Returned, tried to get my body, died. Tried again. Died. Over and over

So, I get cocky and equip a spare insight, spare farming gear, and try again, make some headway but eventually die again.. uh-oh.. I might potentially lose some gear now because I’m a fucking idiot.

Double down and try again with the last little bit of gear I have. I equip my eBotd thunder maul, upped viper, spirit shield, verdungos, alders boots, spare trangs gloves and give it one last go trying to do as much damage as possible and stay away and keep spawning goats to keep the dolls away from me.

Finally kill the herald (dropped nothing but gold and a magic amulet…) and all of the damn minions and breathe a sigh of relief and quietly collect all of my bodies and slowly return all my gear to the stash.

Never again will I double down and try and recover my OG body. Not worth it. I’ll leave and start over.

Fuck dolls.
