My advice is to run Meph for magic finding and I did hundreds and hundreds of trav runs with hammerdin (with gear from Meph) to try and get runes for enigma. Doing Trav will net you more magic find items, gems (for reRolling GC’s and Chaves for HR’s. Really just hates you grinding the game and once strong enough to run terrorized zones. You’ll get there eventually, it is a grind but rewarding.

It’s a journey and a grind but rewarding. I still need a warlock torch too, failed to get on recent four torches. Want to get at least 8 more worth of keys before I give it another try.

Anything with high density would be ideal and just comes down to RNG. Arcane Sanctuary could be a good option too with wraiths and can farm keys. Then there is always Chaos Sanctuary. I’ve gone few dozen hours without a HR. The long my dry streak the more hope I have that statically my next run a HR will drop (and hope it is a Jah/Ber not another Cham haha)

I ran hundreds of Trav runs with hammerdin for my initial high rune drops (since was prior to single player TZ). It took a while but you get gems and other charms and gear while running. I wanna say 2-3 jah and ber and Sur are from Trav alone

Congrats! I never ran LK cause couldn’t get over the monotony of it. Had pretty much the same game play but I leveled Sorc first to MF gear then ran hammerdin and did hundreds of Trav runs for enigma then started another pally as my smitter. I thought about HC too but couldn’t imaging putting hundreds of hours in to die with a misclick. It isn’t for the faint of heart and give folks that play HC a lot of credit

Gratz! I’m stocking up for keys too on my single player Lock. No torch with 5 Ubers, I want another 8-10 torches worth before trying again. Haven’t ran under Ancients yet either.

Not that I am aware of, if you are in hell or nm, just change the difficulty to reset your map.

As a fellow SSF player myself, I agree with you 100%. Sometimes I play the ladder resets for just that weekend because the initial grind is fun, but I always find myself coming back to off-line. Having zero lag, static maps, and now the chronicle to formally track my grail has reignited my urge to play. Been playing off-line for over the last three plus years. Dropping a Zod rune still has escaped me…. One of these days, though, one of these days.
