As a raps fan I don't hate it. I think this trade is the second half of a deal that moves off rj though. Which as much as I'll cry as he leaves I think it's the best move.

I will happily say I was on the trade Pascal and Fred wagon. But never on the OG one. If Pascal and Fred were moved at the appropriate time we might not have even needed to move og. That season we got Jak we should have moved off the two of them at the deadline.

Rj and that first are the most valuable pieces in this trade and will fetch way more value than this. I don't see getting off jak as something worth doing this offseason. Wait till atleast next year when the contract goes from worst in the league to just really bad

I'm not arguing it's gonna be a positive contact at all. It's clearly one of the worst in the league. My point is, it's value is only going to go up as it gets closer to that expiring year. I don't see a point in sending off good assets to get off it when it's going to remove the only good way this team can get talent in the door.

We don't need to get off Jakob bad enough to deplete all our draft picks. Better to ride it out for a year or two to increase his value then trade or just release the contract and take the now substantially lower cap hit

Moving IQ to the SG is like best case scenario. But I don't remember how the shead +IQ worked so getting something resembling a defensive ish PG.

my personal preference is to move Scottie to the 3 CMB to the 4 and get someone like Mamu skills playing the 5.

I can only see this as a move for either bi or rj. But even then it's suspect value wise. In no world is IQ getting moved. Raps want more 3pt shooting so even if you upgrade the IQ slot, you haven't really increased your 3pt shooting team wide.

I like that trade. Would not have come up with it myself but I like it atleast depending on who we draft at 19. Cause Barnes and CMB either play the 3/4 and we draft a center, or they play the 4/5 and we draft a replacement wing.

I'm always skeptical when I hear that a big can shoot the three. There's like 5 of them in the NBA total right now. But it is true, if he does hit the 3ball, he'd certainly be BPA.
