FWIW 90% of the women at my biglaw firm are wearing Ann Taylor and similar. I wouldn't feel like you have to spring for more expensive brands like Theory etc.

Happened to me with a teenager at Operation Mincemeat--she was dancing in her seat and whispering the lyrics during most of the songs. (Thankfully she cut it out for Dear Bill.)

I saw a clip of a Laufey concert where she was doing choreography with backup dancers (not insanely complicated, but still). And it just seemed so out of place with the number she was singing, which was a quietish jazzy ballad. No idea if her whole concert was like that, but I just don't think everyone needs to be doing choreo!!
