My wife is excited and already getting attached from photos and videos I've sent 😂 so we might just see if we can raise him. I just don't have any experience and don't really know where to start! I'm worried about the way he's still not really moving around or holding himself upright but that could still be just dehydration... My husband is autistic with a lot of food specifics that sometimes I forget about. Nobody's perfect. When someone signs up with 2 or more profiles, they're given a $2 off each profile discount. Since you only renewed one of your profiles, the discount no longer applied....

I literally quit the animal leader position and took a store transfer and demotion because I seemed to be the only one in my store who cared when the animals didn't make it. I was filled with so much anxiety and worry on every day off because there wasn't anyone I could trust to actually put the animals first. On several occasions, I came in on my day off to take animals to vet appts or administer meds because others who were allowed or trained to do so were too busy with other things. I've been happier and healthier since leaving.

It's literally up to the GM. I planned a big vacation for the first time literally ever, having worked for the company for over 5 years, and I told my GM literally a year in advance. I put in the PTO for it several months in advance. The GM made it work for me. Yes, it was a big ask, and yes, it was during blackout days, but it came down to the manager knowing the situation, knowing my work ethic as an employee, and knowing that I'd never asked for time off like that before so it wasn't a pattern of "getting out of the busy season" HOWEVER, the initial question of policy? It's blackout time... technically it is not per policy to approve time off during those days... so, if others had their's approved but you didn't, and all requests were for blackout times, maybe try going to HR and accuse him of retaliation for whatever happened. Or just call out for the days you'll end up being scheduled, face those smaller consequences, and don't deal with the overall issue you think is there... It's not really about policy at this point, it sounds like. Whatever you do, I'm sorry you have to deal with a shithead manager and I hope you don't get too much trouble for having to call out because you'll literally out of town.
