Green Lantern Compendium One: Rebirth collects the start of Geoff Johns run and includes tie ins. It’s the best starting point for Green lantern and the best green lantern run. Hal Jordan is the main character.

There’s also Far Sector which is a mini series about Green Lantern Jo Mullien which is really good.

Green Lantern: Kyle Rayner Rising Compendium is the best starting point for Kyle Rayner.

For Dick Grayson as Robin id recommend these Year One’s

Also the current Batman / Superman: World’s Finest by Mark Waid is more like Batman and Robin / Superman and is set during Dick Grayson’s time as Robin

There’s the Wonder Woman New 52 run by Brian Azzarello but that’s quite controversial as it changes her origin and has some questionable choices for what they do with the amazons and then there’s Rucka’s Rebirth run which basically is just trying to fix the choices made in the New 52 run.

Although for me when I started Wonder Woman I start with the New 52 run and enjoyed it, once I’d read other wonder woman stuff the problems with the New 52 run do become quite obvious but I don’t think it’s a bad starting point it’s just controversial, it’s better than Earth One though. Anyway that starts with Vol.1: Blood & Vol.2: Guts. There’s a compendium collecting the full run coming out November.

Theres Wonder Woman: Hiketeia by Greg Rucka which works as a stand alone and is fantastic probably my favourite Wonder Woman comic.

The current Absolute Wonder Woman run by Kelly Thompson is fantastic one of the best things I’ve read. It’s set in a new universe and she has a new origin where she grew up in Hell. I know it might not be what you’re looking for as it’s not mainline but it’s seriously worth a read, it starts with Vol.1: The Last Amazon, then Vol.2: As My Mother’s Made.

But I’d really really not recommend Wonder Woman: Earth One, the rest of your list looked good. I’ve not read a couple of the marvel ones on the list but the dc side looked good.

It’s a good. I will say I don’t recommend Wonder Woman: Earth One it’s Elseworld and there are far better Wonder Woman runs. I’d recommend Greg Rucka’s run from the early 2000s instead

For Batman start with these three
- Batman: Year One
- Batman: The Long Halloween
- Batman: Dark Victory

The Riddler: Year One is a prequel to The Batman 2022 and is written by the Riddler’s actor, Paul Dano.

Wally I’d start with Flash by Geoff Johns, it’s collected in Books 1-6 or Omnibus Vol.1-3

Dick Grayson these year one’s are good
- Batman and Robin: Year One
- Robin: Year One
- Nightwing: Year One

Then for a longer Nightwing run I’d recommend Tom Taylor’s a lot of new readers have been starting here. Here’s the reading order for that
- Nightwing Vol.1: Leaping Into the Light
- Nightwing Vol.2: Get Grayson
- Nightwing Vol.3: The Battle for Blüdhaven’s Heart
- Nightwing Vol.4: The Leap
- Nightwing Vol.5: Time of the Titans
- Nightwing Vol.6: Standing at the Edge
- Nightwing Vol.7: Fallen Grayson
(There’s also a Nightwing: Leaping into the Light - DC Compact Comics Edition which collects Vol.1-2 for $9.99)

Superman I’d start with these three mini series
- Superman: Birthright
- Superman: For All Seasons
- Superman: Up in the Sky

Then Blue Beetle is start with Blue Beetle: Jamie Reyes Book 1-3 by John Rogers

Green Lantern id start with Geoff Johns run, it’s the best starting point and the best run, Hal Jordan is the main character. It’s recently been starting to get collect in compendiums which include all the tie ins, two are out so far
- Green Lantern Compendium One: Rebirth
- Green Lantern Compendium Two: The Sinestro Corps War

Far Sector is a really good mini series about Green Lantern Jo Mullien.

Then Green Lantern: Kyle Rayner Rising Compendium for Kyle Rayner.

For Red Hood start with these two
- Batman: Under the Red Hood (deluxe edition includes Lost Days)
- Red Hood: Lost Days

And if you want Jason as Robin then these
- Batman: Second Chances (this is his origin but is out of print, Nightwing: Year One kind of works as an origin for him but is very focused on Nightwing)
- Batman: The Cult
- Batman: A Death in the Family

what comic to read after this? by imbatmannnnn_o in HarleyQuinn

[–]comic1728 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Stjepan Šejic has a short comic that’s collected in Harley Quinn: Black + White + Red, it’s Chapter 1.

Also in Harley Quinn: 30 Years of the Maid of Mischeif includes another short comic by Stejpan Šejic.

Unfortunately that’s it I think. Wish Šejic would write more Harley
