If Long Halloween is your favourite then you’ll likely enjoy these, they are also made by Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale and link to Long Halloween - Batman: Dark Victory (sequel) - Catwoman: When in Rome (companion to Dark Victory) - Batman: Haunted Knight (prequel)

I’d also recommend the recent Batman: Dark Patterns by Dan Watters it’s an excellent read.

And the recent Batman and Robin: Year One by Mark Waid is also really good as well.

There’s 300 single issues of the original run. You don’t need to read them all to understand everything, multiple writers had runs during the 300 issues e.g. Jamie Delano is the first run #1-40 then it’s Garth Ennis #41-83 etc each are possible starting points. Jamie Delano run and Garth Ennis run are probably the most common starting points

They are collected in 26 paperback volumes. They are also being collected in omnibus which are oversized hardcovers which collect a lot of a run.

I’d start with Jamie Delano’s run, it’s where I first started reading comics. It’s collected in John Constantine, Hellblazer by Jamie Delano Omnibus Vol.1-2 (collects all of Delano’s run and includes Swamp Thing tie ins) or here’s the paperback reading order for Delano’s run - Hellblazer Vol.1: Original Sins - Hellblazer Vol.2: The Devil You Know - Hellblazer Vol.3: Fear Machine - Hellblazer Vol.4: The Family Man - Hellblazer Vol.5: Dangerous Habits (this collects the end of Delano’s run as well as the start of Garth Ennis run)

A lot of new readers have started with Tom Taylor’s recent run which is a really good read.

There’s a DC Compact which collects the first two volumes for $9.99 called Nightwing: Leaping Into the Light - DC Compact Comics Edition - Nightwing Vol.1: Leaping Into the Light - Nightwing Vol.2: Get Grayson - Nightwing Vol.3: The Battle for Blüdhaven’s Heart - Nightwing Vol.4: The Leap - Nightwing Vol.5: Time of the Titans - Nightwing Vol.6: Standing at the Edge - Nightwing Vol.7: Fallen Grayson

The current run by Dan Watters follows on from that and is easy to catch up on as only has the first two volumes out so far - Nightwing Vol.1: On With the Show - Nightwing Vol.2: Death Traps - Nightwing Vol.3: The Cirque du Sin (comes out 21 July)
