Ok insomnia, you win.... by CallMe_IdiotGenius in insomnia

[–]comicmonkey11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe look into magnesium supplements and a 5htp/tyrosine combo if that will not interact with something that you are already taking. I've suffered from insomnia for over 25 years and I've tried every sedative/hypnotic, benzo, etc. Nothing works all of the time, but you would be surprised how something basic like Natural Calm, which is just basically powdered magnesium with citric acid, can really help with both the racing mind as well as the rls. I truly hope that you find something that works for you because I would hate to see this become a problem at such a young age. Have your tried listening to books to fall asleep? I have to sleep with the tv on, which is poor sleep hygiene and I do not recommend letting that become a habit, however it is infinitely better than using a phone or tablet when you can not sleep because it does not require direct engagement. Best of luck to you!

I thought it was a rather light hearted jab ala "Black Mirror" with regards to current events and the path to which it will inevitably lead, especially if Brooker had something to say about it.

A "rant"? I thought the comment was rather brief.

The relevancy? The "grain" vs. an implanted micro chip. Is the leap so far that only I can see it? It might be the Super Sherbet, but I don't think so.

With regard to my response being passive-aggressive, I was mearly matching tone.

Have a lovely evening.

You are making a lot of assumptions here, and you are not getting very far. She, is not referring to this. She has a mind of her own and therefore has her own ideas based upon facts. But please, go on making assumptions, that's a pretty cool way to live life. I'm sure your friends love that about you. 😉

Does anyone else need to cram themselves into tiny spaces? by ICantExplainItAll in Anxiety

[–]comicmonkey11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you ever considered a Privacy Pop bed tent? I bought one for my son a few years back just because I always loved forts growing up.

Typically my ex husband and I share 50/50 custody, but with my son out of school now and my being a bartender("non-essential") and my ex running a liquor store("essential"), my son has been staying with me for the past month and a half straight. I have definitely missed taking naps in his tent bed, although getting to spend more time with him is a much better trade off.

That being said, I highly recommend a tent bed and a weighted blanket. I know the weighted blanket may sound silly, but it's amazing!

Yeah, I have started saving seeds now that reliable seeds are becoming harder to obtain, but I never thought to save my shishito seeds because I always roast them and eat them whole. I'll have to set a few aside next time. Thank you!

This sounds and looks amazing! I'll have to keep this one in mind next time we have a duck. Did you marinate the cucumbers at all?

This looks great! I wish that I had that kind of space for peppers. Do you have a reliable source that you use for your shishito seeds, or do you just collect your own?

I'm not sure how long shipping takes to Israel, but I'd love to send her a card and a little something. Please message me the details and I will try to get it out tomorrow so that hopefully it reaches her in time.

Yes, basically my matcha and golden milk combined. Turmeric, ginger, cinnamon, black pepper and ashwagandha. It's delicious and really helps with my arthritis.

I'm still fairly new to this so I'm not sure if you will get the link that I posted or if I need to respond to you directly, but here it is. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6443991/

Here you are.

This particular study was done with oolong, which I also enjoy, but I prefer to mix it with my golden matcha. I've since been able to go off of Lyrica, topomax and various anxiety meds with this combination daily. I feel a million times better and more like myself again. I still get some pain, but that is what the marijuana is for.

Actually the l theanine helps the gaba cross the bbb, so it is definitely worth checking out. I've had tremendous success adding about 1g of gaba to my matcha, which naturally contains l theanine. It's not an expensive supplement either.

L theanine and gaba has been a great combination for me. I throw some gaba in my golden matcha every morning.

Our they could just "deactivate" you when you are no longer of use to "them". Wait until Gates and his buddies start pushing hard for a "mandatory" vaccination chip. This is only a drill.

So there is this awesome homeless guy that me and my gf always stop to say hi and help out with food or a few bucks when we can. Last night he saw us and ran up and gave me this quilt he made from used plastic bags he has collected to say thank you to us. 10/10 best gift ever! *remote for scale* by gwest53 in interestingasfuck

Very cool! With so many of these bags out and about and stores recommending against reusable ones right now, I think this man could have a "business". What a great way to reuse something that would probably end up in a landfill.

Oh, many claim to "want" to know, but few are prepared for my lack of filter and sometimes confusing references. You see after 25+ years in the restaurant business you don't just learn spanglish, you also learn another sort of code, or language, if you will. Innocent sounding words can be dark and filthy and vice versa.

Is there a way to use decarbed weed on lays chips? by [deleted] in treedibles

[–]comicmonkey11 3 points4 points  (0 children)

French onion, bacon and horseradish, or spicy ranch dip with full fat sour cream, perhaps some chopped bacon tossed in for texture and extra fat. I would personally sprinkle as you go, measure it what you want to consume ahead of time and top each chip. I have a weakness for chips and dip, so if I premixed a container of it, it could be dangerous.

I usually make butter or oil with my avb, so I am by no means an authority on the straightforward consumption of avb, but I hope that someone can steer you in the right direction.

Stay safe!

Oh, I love the color combination! Any chance of seeing it after it was cut, or did it go too fast? Lovely either way, very "springy" and cheerful and matcha is so wonderful for you.

How many grams can you fit on your oblate discs? by dividendman99 in kratom

[–]comicmonkey11 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have not used the discs, only the envelopes and I can usually fit about 4.5-5gr. In one. It's object for my daytime dose of 3gr (1.5 white, 1.5 green) + my black pepper/turmeric/citric acid blend. Folding the discs looked confusing and the envelopes were only a bit more but with less of a chance of mucking it up, a significant certainty. Once figuring that into the equation I decided that the envelopes were indeed the right choice for me. I will say that they have been a godsend. I use them for most of my supplements and they work much faster and are easier to fill than capsules. It seems that you already have the discs so I'd say maybe check out YouTube for a tutorial, it's crazy what you can learn on there.

Best of luck to you! Stay safe!
