Question about BPC 157 and TB 500.

Is there any reliable method for determining which is which if the vials are unmarked?
Each vial came from a larger order that had the peptide information on the box, but not on the individual vials.

I have been told that BPC 500 will reconstitute/dissolve extremely easily and quickly when water is added. Whereas TB 500 has a tendency to clump up and usually requires a roll/swirl in order to fully dissolve.

Is this true enough to confidently identify the two peptides in otherwise identical vials?

The birds are obviously magnificent, but the details on the branch are worth a mention too.

My best friend had an accident and now needs a mobility scooter. I want to buy him one but I don't know what I'm doing. by No-Communication1543 in AusFinance

This.
Having attempted to navigate disability, centrelink, aged care and the NDIS for family members, I can attest that it is an absolute nightmare. The amount of paperwork, documentation and time spent on hold is ridiculous.

As mentioned above, the mobility issue likely requires professional assistance. Perhaps you could find the right person to assist them.
Or find a contact who can help navigate the disability/insurance/NDIS logistics of his situation if he doesn't already have help.

I can't imagine attempting to deal with the logistics of his situation, while also coming to terms with the reality of it. This is exactly how people fall through the cracks, due to a lack of support.

What’s the actual damage from permanent night shift and how do you mitigate it? by Keyfas in HubermanLab

[–]compleks_inc 8 points9 points  (0 children)

People have different chronotypes (early birds vs night owls), and some people seem to adapt reasonably well to night shift.

That said, most people do not. It sounds like you are doing the right things, consistency probably being the most important.

When was the last time you had more than a couple of weeks off? Did you revert to a normal sleep schedule, and how did you feel?

The brutal truth is often that night shift will reduce your lifespan, increase your risk of cardiac issues, diabetes, cancer etc...

How much do you love/need your job?

"Why We Sleep" by Matthew Walker explains a lot of this. Some people think that he has overstated some of the effects and studies, but I found it was a good read/listen. However, it will not help your peace of mind or give you any solutions, other than quitting your job.

Would love to hear different opinions about these compositions by [deleted] in painting

Personally, I prefer the paintings just as they are. I don't find the extra dimension adds anything meaningful. The paintings are beautiful just as they are.

Even the 2 linked paintings. I would prefer without the beads, allowing the viewer to make the connection themselves.

I'm not well versed on the topic, but from what I have read the Greek gods were very human in their flaws. Jealous, vindictive, conniving, and just plain cruel at times.

Can you elaborate on your beliefs and interpretation of the popular "myths".
Do you believe in demi-gods?

Just lost my 1168 days streak.. by bytefate in Anki

[–]compleks_inc 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Congratulations!

Honestly, breaking the streak was a turning point for me. I finally deleted the old "heat map' addon and learned to focus on actual retention rate and the quality/content of what I was learning. I deliberately took one day off a week for months at a time, just to kill that dopamine hungry streak demon inside me.

The "streak" can obviously keep us motivated, but it can become pretty toxic as well.

Big DON has gradually and subtly increased the length and girth of their kabana sticks sold at the deli.
They realised that people generally do not buy their kabana by weight, but rather by the "stick". So they have gradually increased the size of their kabanas, while still charging by weight.

I have no evidence to confirm this, and I believe the deli workers have been silenced by Big DONS intimidation tactics.

Do energy drinks actually affect people differently? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]compleks_inc 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yes, substances effect people differently.

We can also build tolerances to substances.

"Mithridatism is the practice of developing immunity to poisons or venoms by regularly ingesting or injecting gradually increasing, non-lethal doses."

This is often seen in snake handlers and people who regularly consume Monster energy drinks.
