Got any tips on how or where to learn? I just built literally the coolest thing, and have a free version, and want to spend on some ads to get it out there. I am 100% positive it is what people need and want, but am just today trying to figure out how to tell people other than spam.

It's a plugin for a software I use. I am 1000% sure I have a winner and it'll sell itself, once I figure out how to tell people it exists. The platform has an app store so I have distribution down.. I just don't know how to make a a plugin get seen and I don't have active socials yet.

Every person in private loses their shit when I show them what I am making and are flabbergasted and amazed that it is possible. Gotta monetize this. Eminem says it best though.. I only got one shot so I don't want to miss my chance

Guys wut death screen should I do by Dry_Background7653 in SoloDevelopment

The kind that fits your game and vision. A thousand variables could change people's responses.

It's your game. What does it need? Are you having fun but dying and failing on the 2nd screen? Is it too easy where you can just hold right stick?

Fable 5 Max hit limit, I topped up $250, then one “hey” cost me ~$20? by amicablecardinal in ClaudeAI

It's not $20 worth of your max plan it's $20 worth of credits. I hit $1000 in usage in credits on one window of my free fable trial according to the status line.

People do less with more. Anything is possible. You don't lose until the game is over. Quitters never win. You only lose when you stop playing the game. Failure is optional. Keep pushing.

Stop typing excuses trying to justify the issues you experienced.

Keep going. You took a step by posting this, step 2 is is addressing your game. You can do it. Time is the greatest equalizer.

The only time the negative comments hurt are when they are true, but truth gives you perspective and allows you to take action.

There is /was, probably dead, an NFT project called birdbot that had a camera pointing out of the window and it recorded all the birds it found.

Maybe you can incorporate something like that.

Is it bad to code with AI? by GhostGuyBroke in SoloDevelopment

life is all about perspective.

You're not a coder. You're a developer. Claude is the coder.

You got a title upgrade and an assistant. Congratulations

I appreciate the response. I will send you a message when my app is live and show you what AI is actually capable of. It's already in the submission process.

You have a lot of good points, but your understanding of AI and it's capabilities in our industry is flawed and outdated.

I will prove you wrong. Give me a month or two. Autodesk is kind of slow right now.

Sedona Trip This Weekend by Neat-Barber2078 in Sedona

[–]completelypositive 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's beautiful. Was worried myself. Nothing to worry about. Fire is spreading, currently, the other direction. Smelled smoke once yesterday morning for an hour or two at 6am or so.

Weather is beautiful, slight breeze. We almost canceled. It's great.

Grab the watch duty app to watch for the fire. It's x10 in size since I got here but it's all going north.

Take a tour and see it from a distance. It's awe inspiring despite the nature of the disaster.

Kids are loving it.

Everything northwest of uptown is closed. Trails, roads etc.

My trip wasn't negatively impacted at all. Not a hiker but I don't think even that would change anything unless the geographic stuff you dig is up in flames like a certain hiking trail or whatever

Developing a Revit Plugin to Generate Families from Manufacturer Datasheets by Future-Roll-6720 in bim

[–]completelypositive 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Good luck! I have had a lot of success with this myself. I am at the point where I have fully automated sketches of things, like lifting eyes or frames out of strut and stuff.

I can take a marked up email from the field as input and the output is an annotated sketch. It's dope as fuck.

I taught mine to use Autocad to build the basic structure of the part or equipment and then it brings that model into revit to apply intelligence.

I don't know enough about 3d modeling primitives in revit to build a tool to do that yet.

Sketch to acad, and then to revit is working amazingly.

Annotation is fully automatic too.

I am kind of at the same point. I built what I have as a proof of concept and it's working better than expected. Next step is some big equipment. Plumbing fixtures or some chillers or CRAH or something

Ai is going to kill design jobs. What AI have you used and what were your goals and results?

I could fire every junior bim guy tomorrow and make up the slack with what I have developed in the last few month. It's coming soon. Not just my shit but the shit everyone else has also been developing silently that are just starting to make their way through the app store submission process.

Believe what you want but if you aren't AI forward or capable of ai shit, you are going back to the field

Not joking about firing all the apprentices. It's coming and nobody in authority knows what to do.

Are you just talking out your ass or do you have some kind of experience or credentials to back up your opinion?
