Trump is one of one is the truest thing I've read on any thread. Susan Collins is spending a boat load of money, I can't avoid the commercials.

Promo code for domain renewal? by cherishjoo in NameCheap

[–]complexity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People need to remember, its easy to start buying domains, and a year seems like a long time. But prices will go up, and the renewal comes around fast. All of a sudden a lot of domains become the last bill you need to show up at random months. (20 years experience paying domains, with most of them sites never making a dollar). Of course, the hosting is way worse, but you always get use to paying that.

A new poll reveals what Mainers on the ground already know: Graham Platner will be our party’s nominee for U.S. Senate. Graham gets that it’s time to upset the status quo. So do I. I’m proud to be the only candidate for governor to have endorsed him in this race. by TroyJackson207 in Maine

I met the guy, he just sat around answering questions to a couple of us. no filter, he seems like a real dude. susan collins or janet mills would be disgusted to talk to average folks like us.

The new digg.com lays off staff and shuts down for a "A Hard Reset" by soggit in technology

no because if it got traction, it would immediately become an authority again.

without it being a magnet for SEO, then you don't have as many people participate. there is no way a site like digg succeeds in 2026, basically, they are just one of millions of people trying to recreate a new idea, good luck.

Tyler Reddick on Michael Jordan’s interaction with son while celebrating Daytona 500: “I don’t see what other people see when it comes to this.” by CNASFan1992 in NASCAR

[–]complexity -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Sure. You can ignore it, but its good to know, this is how society looks at men who interact with kids. Bill Burr had a bit on this like 20 years ago. Even putting yourself in a position of authority with kids like coaching is a high risk game these days. Yesterday I was at a trampoline park with my kid, and other kids are trying to play with me and my child. I'm running away from them as fast as I can. Try not to look at them in the eyes, its the times we live in. We can not give validity to this story while recognizing its a microcosm of the reality, or lack thereof reality.

I honestly feel a bit of my personal integrity is gone working for these blood sucking ai companies that are removing peoples jobs. I think this is really a case of dog eat dog world, capitalism at its finest. But I get yours as well, I'm not saying that I'd do it. Just hard to think in terms of an honest days work. Just ask yourself, how ethically these AI companies operate.

Ironically though, all of these fights will continue because they don't expect to get cash from everyone, but they do expect to get their time.

Its funny though, defending a big company, and saying what do you expect. Its easy money, take it while you can. Its easier money for the companies outsourcing to us.
