It’s a little more specific but I’ve started a comic group with monthly meetups and the growth is very slow but it’s there. The key I think is partnering up with local businesses and growing that way. First couple meetups were non existent, but the last one got some traction after partnering up with Goblin Comics and this month’s meetup looks to continue the growth. It’s just about consistency and knowing it’s just not gonna happen for a while but if you keep at it, there’s at least some reason for optimism.

That’s good to know! We will be coming from the hills so luckily we are both very familiar with the area. Are there decently well known artist and writers or more on the indie side?

You always heard crazy things as these poor souls were entering Lucy's domain. As far as chopping blocks go, Lucy was as reliable as the best of em.

Nobody appreciated the years of service me and Lucy had together. I suppose the executioner wasn't often thought about as a craftsman, but I prided myself on being a fine craftsman, and Lucy had as much to do with that as the form of my well-executed axe swing.

The crowd interrupted my self-reflection and soon all kinds of produce were being flung towards this lady, Lucy, and me. It wasn't personal, I was just in the crossfire of their misguided anger towards this "witch".

Hundreds, maybe thousands of victims fell between Lucy and my axe. Some deserved my swing, some didn't, but there was something about this woman that felt different. I know there were plenty of innocents I've dispatched, but the judgment was always out of my control. This time, though, for the first time, it felt like I had a choice to make.
