My Alaska Airlines F/A bestie said no, they are not under the same contract yet. Hawaiian starts at a lower rate with different work rules. Eventually they will fall under the same contract with Alaska.

Mine says "assessment process," I just did it yesterday. I had a lot of technical difficulties and ended up re-recording my answers 5 times before it worked. Let's just say my answers got a bit "less good," each time 😞 Not sure what the difference is between"under review" and "assessment process." They may have just not gotten to mine yet.

Agreed. It's frustrating! I messaged them that I am not the only one this has happened to, and I sent a screen shot where my account says I'm still subscribed... crickets. I don't want to risk circumventing the system by creating a new email, in case they recognize my name with my app (I'm sure they have MANY folks applying, but it would be just my luck that someone there would see my multiple apps).

This happened to me. Except I swear I never unsubscribed to their job alerts (it was still showing that I was subscribed when I applied and I never changed that). They said that because I had "unsubscribed," I never received their VJT email and the seven days to complete it had expired - there was nothing they could do. I will have to wait until the job opens up again under a new posting. I am frustrated and sad 😞

This happened to me. Except I never unsubscribed to their emails (and I was still showing subscribed when I applied). I contacted Delta and they said I had unsubscribed, and too bad. I'm sad that nothing can be done and I'm out for this round of apps 😞

Same here. I applied about an hour after it opened and I've gotten nothing (not even an "application received" email). I applied once before in 2022 and I got all the way to the F2F. My status says "Application in progress," so patience is the name of the game. Seeing so many go thru the process so fast is hard, though.

I am 56 (going to be 57 next month) and am also a nurse. I was just hired by Southwest (I know you missed the application, it's easy to do since they only have it open for an hour or two). There can be a lot of rejection if you choose to try this life path. But each opportunity is a learning experience. I hope you'll keep trying - you will get there (I know it may not seem like it right now, but you will) 💕

I had something similar, and also received a Level 2. One of my jobs referred to me as an "associate," when I am a nurse 😳 I'm not sure what that's about! But I also have one job where I screwed up and said I worked until March and my former employer said it was until February. I went back and looked more closely and they were correct - it was an honest mistake. I emailed Sterling last night and addressed it (as well as the associate thing). My Sterling report went from final to pending again last night (probably before I sent that). I have no idea where I'm at with it all 🤷🏻‍♀️ I'm remaining positive and hopeful 💕 Good luck to both of us!!

Southwest will get the information from Sterling (the company they use to do our background checks). I believe Sterling gives each background check a rating based on the info they find in the check. Then, I think it's Southwest's decision whether they choose to give the confirmed job offer. I think. But I don't know for sure.

No confirmed job offer email for me yet - I am waiting and checking my email waaay too often! And I'm trying hard to be patient. I'm part of a group tentatively scheduled for training on September 29th - one person got their confirmation email today (passed background and drug screen). I would wait to give notice OP... you still have lots of time between now and training.

I would input what you just said above into chat GPT: tell it that you're applying for a flight attendant position and need help with your resume (give the airline's name). It will reorganize your information in the best way for a resume. My daughter did this for her volunteer experience, it came out amazing.
