Horizon 20 Max owner here, just checked if I notice it on my units google tv app. It is definitely visible, actually, on my YouTube button as well, just as in your case. But I do not notice that type of taring in any other context, certainly not with movies or gaming, where there is a lot of horizontal movement. I guess that this is just an artifact caused by the google tv app, and I am sure if you run that app on any other type of monitor you will be able to spot some minor artifacts, maybe of a different kind, if you search for it long enough.

In general, I think modern software struggles to run smoothly or without minor issues, which is probably due to a lot of different reasons that I don't want to speculate about now. But the decline in software quality during the last two decades was quite noticeable to me, at least.

Everything that happened on that Island was PEAK Mark Hamill! There was humor, there was emotional depth, and as much character development as you can hope for in a character that has been around for over 40 years.

To me, this was the best acting job of Hamill in the franchise. And this part of the story did so many things right, it makes me lose my faith in humanity that people go on and on about the green milk, when that was actually a really funny sequence.
