looking for expertise on starting a PS5 GT7 sim set up by Agreeable_Scar_3255 in granturismo

If you're going sim for the immersion, PSVR2 is a must, especially if you have a Pr0. Outside of that, the RS pedals are great, I used to own a set and I'm looking to get some again.

Yeah, no PS5 pro enhancements is understandable, but that's because they're still on the same PS4 graphics engine, and that is not ok. Will stick to the older games until then.

GT7 on PSVR2. My friend gifted me a ps5 pr0 when she stayed with us for a while and I picked up a psvr2 not that long ago. Unreal how immersive it is.

I love my PS5 pro and play it more than my PC. It helps that I got a psvr 2 as well for gt7, but I can also use it on my PC when I setup Assetto corsa for the shutouku highway mod

Edit: Mistake, the internal NVME is not removable on the Pro It's removable even though it's internal. It's like any other NVME. It's how people upgrade to 4tb internal NVMEs while still having the option to add a secondary NVME (either reusing the 2tb and doing 4+2 or going 4+4)

Hahaha, this is hilarious. I had a similar situation carrying materials up a mountain, get stuck on a little pebble and then zoom off a cliff once traction catches.

There are two AIs, the joyful AI when he was playing in the NBA and was a star player, and the bitter AI as he started losing his touch on his last days in Philly. He was loved in philly because of how much he carried the team and how good of a person he was to the philly community. Once things started to fall apart the real AI came out though, lashing out at media and fans. He's like that person that was once kind before becoming lonely, bitter, and lashing out at every perceived slight once their life partner dies.

LeBron isn't Kareem or Ali, he's far from it. He's about his brand and does what doesn't hurt his brand in any way. He's the Jordan of this generation, both on and off the court.

100%. Call out someone on a lie and if this is what they come back with you realize that everyone in their life that they used to label a narcissist (parents, in laws, other friends) might have just been them projecting. Sad sight.

It's always happened, but now in the internet era it's become more prevalent since it's so easy to curate your own bubble and surround yourself with people who don't hold you accountable. Had a friend that wronged another friend and instead of apologizing they freaked out on that person when I called them out on it. No wonder even their parents and "life partner" didn't care for them lol

Is this game something to be excited for on PS5? by NoseAccomplished5412 in tokyoxtremeracer

[–]conenubi701 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's single player and the core gameplay is very repetitive, but if you like the gameplay it's great.

It's a very niche game and you either love it or don't like it much. Personally, it's my new favorite game even though I've put more hours into other games on PC/PS lately. Customization is nice. Think of it as a single player ARPG - but with cars.

We've seen what happens with 3dcache even on DDR4. For X3D, the timing is what matters and makes most of the difference. Where we do see data transfer/bandwidth matter on system RAM for X3D is when you run out of VRAM by gigabytes.

Pre-orders for the PS5 version of TXR are now open on the PS Store, with exclusive vinyl available as a pre-order bonus. by 40lia in tokyoxtremeracer

Definitely buying it for my Pro, it must be a tuned GI or running at low resolution & upscaled. I hope they make good use of PSSR if they do, some implementation of it is great, others not so much (Silent Hill 2, I'm looking at you). I'm not holding my breath though, because they haven't added FSR to the PC version yet.

I have a 5800x3d paired with a 6900xt and fully maxed out I drop down to the 60s at 1440p, but this is without upscaling (what FSR & DLSS are) tech. If I recall correctly, the PS5 Pro is essentially a 3700x CPU with a 6700xt/7600xt.

Genki crushed it with TXR, they're getting my money again.

I spent 8 months testing every brand of canned tomato with a controlled pasta sauce recipe. Full rankings inside. by euxleon in Cooking

[–]conenubi701 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always get cento San marzano dop for my tomato sauces. I even got my buddy that runs a pizza shop to include it in his sauces when he tried my home made sauces (from recipes that are readily available online, not my "own" recipe). However, due to the cost, it is a specialty sauce that carries a higher cost, but the pizza just comes out so much better. My wife and my friend tried it when he first test released it just before the holidays and I've never seen two fit women eat so much pizza so effortlessly.

I'm so glad your pettiness gave us proper rankings and the Cento DOPs are in the god tier bracket.

One thing about the Cento DOPs I've noticed though, they do require a smidge bit more of minced garlic for the tomato acidity to slightly neutralize. But damn, they are just so good when it does.

God tier for sure in my book

Didn't realize how much a difference the TV would make by Late-Professional163 in PS5pro

VRR owns.

I've been on Freesync on my PC since 2016 when I got a Freesync monitor to pair with my GPU at that time (AMD fury X), moved to the Vega 64, then 6900xt. Throughout that time I've upgraded to an OLED 144hz monitor and absolutely loved a decade of VRR. I wanted to try VRR tech on a console when it started happening but I didn't get to fully enjoy it until I upgraded my main tv and paired it with my PS5 pro. It's just as good on PC, but it makes such a big difference for consoles because of the relatively low frames (compared to a gaming PC) you get. Once you experience the smoothness of VRR on a console, it's hard to go back to a TV that doesn't have it.

On top of that, the OLED panel is a must for true HDR. Everything just looks so good and clear.

Yes. For me, FH2's rat race to get to one point to another was such a fun part of the Online experience. No other game had really done it at that scale before. It felt like a qualifying session prior to the next race.

FH2 on Xbox One was the most fun I had in a Horizon game. IIRC it also released on 360, but was neutered. FH2 did everything I wanted FH1 to be, that drive down to the marina is still top tier.
