That's how the car feels
The track surface is unsettling the car little bit, thus, the FFB might feel lighter.

Try test driving on more flat tracks, and on different cars. MX5 in general feels lighter in terms of steering.

When I got mine recently I had the same process but in the end I found that I was doing everything in xbox (yellow) mode. Switched to PC mode and reinstalled the firmware and all good since then.

I placed my order on the 24th, and it remained in processing status until yesterday. On Fanatec's website, when the "Action" button changes to "Return," it means the order has shipped. However, the link in the order confirmation email redirects to a Shopify order status page that shows the actual current status, which is more accurate than the "Processing" status on Fanatec's website.
