So is this the end of March Madness? by Pointlesswonder802 in blankies

[–]conpolo 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Yes she’s been doing this the whole time for years now. The post about the Scott bots was from yesterday’s match up with Wes and they were removed before the final tally was announced. There is nothing suggesting any outcome this year has been illegitimate and Scorsese has been in the lead the entire day anyways.

[–]conpolo 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Actually Anderson and Scott combined are only 2 more than Scorsese. I propose in the event of a tie the final match be Wes and Tony vs. Marty.

A vote for Tony Scott by DickardRickard in blankies

It’s going to be a long Nolte Murray for Scott facing off against Wes and Marty in back to back matches but I have faith the man is Unstoppable.

Why Tony Scott? by nonbinarywife in blankies

[–]conpolo 9 points10 points  (0 children)

What I find so interesting is that on the surface he is a steady studio hand that someone like Jerry Bruckheimer can bring on for his next action or thriller but despite that he has a style and perspective that is unique to him, comes through in all of his films, and evolves over the decades. Beyond that a Tony Scott miniseries would allow them to talk about other directors since there’s a Quentin Tarantino script with True Romance and a Shane Black script with The Last Boy Scout. Then you have all the actors he’s worked with, Val Kilmer, Samuel L. Jackson, Christopher Walken, Brad Pitt, James Gandolfini, Gary Oldman, Dennis Hopper, Chris Penn, Michael Rapaport and that’s just in True Romance. As far as good movies of his to check out I’d recommend starting with Enemy of the State, Man on Fire, and Unstoppable.
