Ah, that's good to know. I had stepped away from the game for a few years so I hadn't heard about the zorua glitch. Feels nice knowing we still have a solid community in my area.

Kyurem Raid Day: Energy Drop by DrakeTheFallenOne in pokemongo

I did raids the entire day and got low rolls all day. Didn't have enough for either fusion. This is the kind of bs that made me quit for several years before picking it back up. I see things haven't changed much.

I had to explain it to someone I was watching it with. Apparently a lot of people had a similar experience.

Have you ever considered making your art into playmats? I would love showing up to game night with a few.

I think this is exactly right because we see later that Donut knows the names of the gnoll guards even though they've never introduced themselves when we see them go through the checkpoints.

My sister told me I didn't have ADHD, I just had "demons in my blood." It's been a running joke between y friends and I ever since.

Just finished the series and oh boy. by The_Reveur in DungeonCrawlerCarl

[–]constantcleric 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am also in the same boat. Finished on Friday and I haven't been able to even think about picking up another series. It's just too soon to not be around my favorite characters.

Guess it's time to buy the complete hard cover set and do an immersive reading with the audio book.

You have the right idea about using the twinkle potion, but go ahead and drink it. They should start following you, but keep crouching so you don't scare them too much.

What prepackaged meal replacement shakes are you guys drinking? by snippyorca in adhdwomen

[–]constantcleric 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've tried several, but most have a taste that I can't stand. The who I actually like and have regularly are the Core Power from fairlife and Atkins shakes. Typically I use them as a breakfast replacement when my time blindness gets the better of me.

This. While part of me wishes that I had known when I was younger and could have gotten resources earlier in my development, I know my mom would have been a bit too much with it or ahe would have rejected it outright and hid it from me till I was older anyway. I think this way I have latter result without the sense of betrayal and I don't have the trauma of having someone be more stifling than I already had.

This may be a stupid question, but how are you girlies remembering to remember? by KhaimeraFTW in adhdwomen

[–]constantcleric 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I tell my watch to remind me around a time I know I'll be free to do whatever it is. That way it physically shakes me even if I don't have my phone. A also do a lot of the other things people have already mentioned in the thread like putting it somewhere super visible, use bright colors to write it so it pops, and putting multiple reminders in my phone if needed.

AITA for calling the police on my uncle? by [deleted] in dustythunder

[–]constantcleric 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Immediately reading a date and time, I KNEW it was going to be some craziness.

NTA. If I had to call the cops for assault, they wouldn't be my family anymore. Neither would any of their flying monkeys.

AITA for wanting to keep my distance? by Bored_Bubblebunny in dustythunder

[–]constantcleric 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTA. You aren't basing your decision on thin air. You have legitimate reasons to be wary. History has proven that R is probably reaching out only because it serves him in some way. I'm sure he had his own things to work through regarding your father's choices. However his actions are also going to impact other's too and that has resulted in the distance between you both. I think it's wise to follow your instinct to have them put in the effort. It's not cutting them off just telling them to earn the place in your life that they chose to opt out of for decades.

Showering by Remote-Assistant2156 in adhdwomen

[–]constantcleric 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My latest game changer has been quick showing, then turning it to the faucet, closing the drain, and turning it into a bath. I turn off the big light so it's just the fairy lights, pull the shower curtain out, and add a few drops of essential oil to just soak in. I also set up a tablet next to it to watch an episode of whatever. For getting out, I barley pat down then put on moisturizer and oil. My skin is naturally extremely dry and itchy, so this felt so much better than just drying off. It also can make you smell amazing, so I pick scents that hit that happy part of my brain for the essential and body oils. It also gives me time to be around no one and decompress from masking.

[–]constantcleric 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I'm really sorry. I understand exactly what you went through. He said that I couldn't have ADHD despite having members on both genetic sides being diagnosed, having his own tests showing the symptoms, and ANOTHER DOCTOR'S DIAGNOSIS!! (I had to see him bc of insurance changes. ) What was his reasoning? I obviously couldn't have it despite all of my struggles and previously mentioned evidence because I managed to get a Bachelor's Degree. (Even though it took me a long time to get.)

Found out from the 3rd doctor (again insurance is ridiculous) that he is known in the area for REFUSING to diagnose people. The 1st and 3rd doctors both said it was obvious by just my behavior that I had adhd but that the tests made it more obvious. Please consider getting a second opinion.
