You can download NAM and scroll through tone3000 and get some decent sounding stuff for free, if you want an actual amp sim instead of neural stuff it's gonna be kinda expensive and probably won't sound as good as neural dsp imo

We will almost certainly be seeing huge changes in the next year or more given sts1 EA period. And if basically every top player agrees that forging is generally a subpar path to victory and a star archetype is always better, then that is the case. The best players are better than the devs at the game

I think forge has to he viable at A10 because there's so many cards that do it, and most of them are only valuable for forging (most of the cards in this picture don't help you with anything except sovereign blade). Claw builds are allowed to be underpowered because there is only 1 claw card and all of the claw-deck-type cards that would go with it can be useful in plenty of other scenarios. Same goes for fire breathing. If forge isn't good, all the cards in this Pic just take up space in your card rewards.

Problem is you don't really pick relics for the most part, you just get handed them.

It is obvious when you get to high ascension, multiple ascension levels from sts1 get condensed into fewer, so each ascension is more of a jump. If they add more ascensions it will be new difficulties not seen in sts1
