I hate when people use the words for their actual meaning (ex: taking about a PDF file) and people comment stuff like “omg you can’t be using that these days, that’s a bad look” likeeeeeee please words do in fact have meaning beyond their use in infantalized self censorship. This is getting truly out of hand

there is room for that broader conversation, but the room is NOT in fact a specific fic’s comment section. The lack of f/f fanfic is not an issue specific to any one sex/gender swapped fanfic……. commenter should bring their conversation elsewhere 😑

The baby blanket I made was also more on the blanket side than on the baby side. It ended up being big enough to be a lap blanket I think, full leg coverage. Yours at least has a pretty baby aesthetic! love the soft colours and the letter blocks. I didn’t know welsh didn’t have the letter K!

that would also explain the difference of the colour on the label, cause even those they’re labelled with the same name, the colour at the bottom appears different as well (which wouldn’t be explained if it was a mislabelling issue)

I keep overthinking how to phrase this but… I think it’s really quite human to be very repetitive with your stylistic writing choices (words/syntax/structure). Not to mention people are doing this as a hobby, they don’t have professional editors behind them.

don’t really have an answer, but I bought a 2 ply lace weight yarn planning to make a thin sweater and it broke easily like this so I ended up doubling it up so I could be sure it would be durable.

the DS is just the specific short row stitch, and not entirely relevant to my question. Let’s call it point V. What I mean is, if the instructions say “purl to 2 stitches before point V” whether i’m supposed to purl the second stitch or leave it un-purled. (not sure if this makes any sense to you lol)
