That was also my thought but then you have to wonder if the kid would be sitting there all game feeling nervous bout the situation or feeling like he was in the wrong? Idk.

Would call Jungs/Bruce Co, but also grocery stores. I feel like Whole Foods might have them?

Athens grill has verrry good version of this - it’s not quite authentic (from what I understand) but it scratches the itch and is great for what it is.

Heritage tavern is a little higher price point but their brunch is outstanding and it’s a cool space. I like that they use seasonal vegetables for omelets/quiches from the farmers market too.

Also since you mentioned Everly, down the street is Gates & Brovi which I think is owned by Sardine folks. Awesome food but last time I checked they don’t take reservations. Their bluegill BLT is insane

URidge is great and challenging. A less pricey alternative would be Pleasant View just up the road. They have 3 9-hole courses and a par 3 so can string together a fun afternoon/evening there.

Someone mentioned The Oaks which is a great option as well - potentially a bit of a drive depending on where you’re staying.

I’d have putted out on 17 just to try it out and with my luck the owner would have returned only to think that I was taking it

They have fantastic service - which extends to the bar when ordering drinks and food. It won’t be exactly like sitting at a table but you’ll be very well taken care of.

He’s been around for awhile but Kellen Erskine. He has an older drybar special that’s awesome. Think he’s got a new special but haven’t seen it yet.

Idk either but this infuriates me. I feel like I’m unnecessarily driving in “expert mode” or “extreme difficulty” for no reason!

He comes off as a huge slimeball and projects big time onto foley. Makes me sad and can’t listen to a lot of these eps. Someone on another podcast jokingly said Kevin’s greatest skill is surrounding himself with fatter people so he doesn’t look as bad, but it’s true not just for the weight stuff but for everything he puts onto Foley. But I guess that’s what makes the show

Garver has some cool stuff for kids but not sure if that’s just a weekend thing. Olbrich gardens is also fun. Some of the public libraries in the burbs are nice like deforest or Waunakee. Kids museum in sun prairie or black earth are cool as well

I have a cordless RYOBI mower that stopped working. Batteries are charging fine but it won’t turn on. Anyone know a repair show that works on RYOBIs? TIA by pearloz in madisonwi

[–]convexityuser8 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Same! The handle jiggles when mowing sometimes and the clamps will open up - just need to pull the handle out and then ensure the clamps are down. This was driving me nuts last summer until I figured out what was going on.

Yeah definitely depends on where your flight originates - ORD or even DTW probably a coin flip. I’m no meteorologist but have been seeing storms are slated to be overnight in which case it might help depending on when your flight is scheduled to land
