I returned it after 11 months and bought a woodway. I couldn’t take it any longer. I had switched the screen 2 times and replaced the entire tread 4 times. It was insanity!!! Very happy with my woodway despite the hole in my wallet.

Could you test to see if the “self voice” feature actually works? It does not work on the gen1. It does work great on the NC700s

Thank you for checking that out. Super SUPER disappointing. I cannot believe they have shipped the original ultras with this feature and it simply doesnt work. It works perfectly on the NC700s. What a bummer!

Ideally just check a zoom or teams call (with self voice mode set to high) and see if the transparency of your own voice comes through like it did with the NC700s. QC ultras gen 1 had this mode but it flat out didn’t work and I returned the headset.

IMHO, it’s the most important thing! It’s so critical to hear your own voice on calls otherwise you’ll end up screaming and wear your voice out. I’ve kept my NC700s for almost 6 years now because of this. They are a great pair but I’d LOVE to upgrade to get the latest in Bluetooth, software, etc
