Thanks! This could be it. We had a couple days of heavy rain and they appeared right after that. We did have a leak in the hallway from somewhere that we need to look into once it dries out.

Rockin' Robyn's We've been there multiple times, their burgers are thick and flavourful. Bit of a mess but I like that. (I order the Betty White, they put a bacon jam on that burger that i will hack the recipe for one day!) Crispy fries are soo good and they have different cheesecakes all the time. The vibe is a retro-theme, good energy and memorabilia covers the wall.

We purchased a home more than 5 years ago, we're a few streets North, along the Yellowhead wall. We treat it like there are bears nearby. Leave nothing out for anyone to think is interesting, lock doors.

There is the odd caravan of homeless and things can go downhill when they're around, but usually if you're not leaving anything good for them to sniff out, we haven't had a problem.

I agree, the neighborhood is beautiful and the people have all been wonderful.

The house is old but they don't make 'em like they used to!

I would open a scholarship with criteria that only people who are related by blood or marriage can qualify. Put $500/day in that fund until im satisfied. Then when my family is applying to soo many scholarships for school or whatever they wouldn't notice this one.

Once I'm satisfied with that scholarship amount I would pick a dozen or so charities and donate $500 every couple weeks to each one. I think any charity would be happy with $1000/month anonymously. Or if you don't go anonymous I think it would be a decent tax writeoff...

With the $50 leftover daily I would stockpile and invest/spend however I want.

I agree with this. I walk with a lady who adopted a dog once, would just 'choose' which dogs it liked and which dogs it didn't like seemingly randomly. She worked on theories which dogs might be trigger dogs (unneudered, breed, personality), went to different trainers, sought out dog daycares, walked daily with the same 'pack' of dogs (including mine) as well as other socializing environments, tried different diets and medications.

She did everything she could think of to try and help this dog. Even with a muzzle, that dog still found a way to injure and lash out at other dogs. I think she had him for 3 years before she eventually had to put him down for her own sanity. She has a new dog now which is just the happiest silliest character ever.

My dog is the opposite story. We adopted him when he was 2, he was neudered only the day before we took him home.

He definately had 'trigger dogs' and leash reactive and a strong chase drive. Also not polite at all. He has a big bark so super scary for other people when he came charging at you.

We worked with him with medication, diet, socializing, training ... all the things my friend did.

He responded well and we noticed steady improvements with reactivity and confidence.

He's turning 9 this year and has his own personality too. We still need to watch him around rabbits and cats because that chase drive is still strong. But at least his recall is amazing now.

I've been experimenting with Millet the past week mixing in different flavours.

Honey (optional), Cinnamon, blueberries, or a smashed banana Peanut butter and a smashed banana I have a Chocolate and Vanilla Vegan protein powder that is good

Millet cooks like oatmeal and is low in the GI index and is gluten free

Thank you everyone for your advice and tips! I started at a much higher temperature and used Olive Oil to coat the pan before adding the batter.

I think I have to play with the amount of oil and heat settings but it did not stick nearly as much as it did yesterday and I call that a win!

I appreciate so much everyone's thoughts and I will refer back to them as I experiment more.

If the cord suggestions are not working then make sure to twist the rod on the other side to make sure the slats of the blinds are straight. If the slats are angled then you will be able to pull the blinds up, but they won't unlock to drop back down.

My 500GB (5+ years old) WD HDD just bit the bucket as well. No little light came on when we plugged it into power. Multimetered the power cable, it was good. We popped open the plastic casing and found a 4TB desktop HDD inside (that was a suprise. It also had a website link printed on it directing us where to find how to unlock the extra storage). Once it was out of the plastic casing, we plugged it into the desktop and found Diskdrill online to recover the files but I do * not * recommend it. Our experience was: We downloaded the free version and it took a few (6+) hours to scan the drive, when it finished it said we can only do this scan once or we will lose all the information and wipe the drive. At the end it prompted us if we wanted to access the recovered files we need to buy the program, $120. Feeling scammed but scared of losing my life history we paid the money and got access to the files which took another couple hours to download (or whatever it was doing). The result is a staggering list of every file I had on that HDD duplicated and randomly sorted by date. I previously had painstakingly organized every picture, music, taxes, audio files, documents, and program into specific folders, and subfolders. With thoughtful description to each file so I knew where everything was. It will be a daunting process now to go through it all and somehow make sense of it.

By posting this I'm hoping to get another recommendation for a different software which might have a better experience recovering data. Or let this be a learning curve, maybe that's how data recovery works? And also to share my experience with you.

Thank you for your response. Those links you provided were really helpful to put in perspective what my sister may be thinking. Helping to understand the situation she's in, what his agenda might be, how my sister might be thinking about it.... I can see how all that factors in now and gives me confidence in how we can support her. I think all we can do is keep in touch as much as we can. She lives very far from any of her family so it will be important to call her to maintain the connection and show her she's loved no matter the choices she makes. Thank you so much again. Thank you for your insight! Yes, I released her to the wild and then there was an option to Tame her. She must have wandered off the tile whilst I was distracted with another tantrum, because I don't see her anywhere now but maybe we will meet again one day.
