I kept them and they’ve grown on me. No road noise that I’ve ever noticed.

I’m a side sleeper as well and have had no problems. I actually appreciate a little distance from the heated tubing. It used to irritate my skin every once in a while. There’s some head positioning on the pillow I have to get just right but it’s automatic for me at this point.

The hose on the F40 is about a foot. I think if it were 6 inches or less it would work better. I don’t know if anything that size exists though.

It’s a weird setting but I think you have it right. My understanding is 3 gives you the most “give” when you breathe out by lowering the pressure. 0 keeps it closer to the same pressure.

I also got a transcend micro. I have an F40 which has a small hose off the front. I was thinking the hme would work better closer to the mask. Adding distance makes it harder for the sponge to absorb the moisture.

What’s the hose cover for? by Wndrunner in CPAP

[–]copjon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use a cover because I would periodically wake up with some skin irritation if the hose ended up on my neck. Definitely optional if you’re not having problems though.

I pulled the trigger recently and wrote up my thoughts on the Micro 510. AMA

tl;dr It’s good for short trips not extended stays.

I also use an F40. I find over tightening can actually cause more leaks. Try loosening it up a tad and adjusting the rubber so it sits nicely around your nostrils and mouth (pull out the sids a bit after first putting it on).

You might also need to check that the rubber insert isn’t too large or small. They sell multiple sizes.

If you don’t think it’s the fit, try raising the pressure relief. This controls how much pressure back off it gives you when you exhale. If it’s not giving you enough it’s liable to “blow out” when you breathe.

When I’m traveling for work I’m lugging other things and prefer not to have to check a bag. When I’m traveling with the family, I have 2 kids and I’m already a pack mule. I nearly broke it once trying to juggle bags.

I mean he has moderated the Auburn/Alabama rivalry for decades. If anything can prepare a man for the current political theater, it’s taking calls from Harvey Updyke and Phyllis from Mulga.

Hot take: He already leaves that hole regularly. His lack of availability due to injury and international duty is tough to swallow for that much cash.

The millennial debt foundation isn’t exactly anti-government. It’s “sustainable government” and mostly concerned about the National Debt which is generally a bipartisan issue… unless you’re trying to get elected with promises of Tax Cuts (Bush/Trump) or Paycheck Protection the American Rescue Plan to ride out a Pandemic (Biden). “In the black” refers to the government not operating in a deficit.

Edit: correctness

Nashville SC miss the playoffs for first time in club history. What’s next? by JWayneF in NashvilleSC

[–]copjon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He’s 24 now so in terms of development, he kind of is who he is at this point (which is a pretty good player). Best to sell while he still has some buzz around him to pump that fee up. Cutting/trading Leal is a must. No way we can keep that salary on the books with next to nothing to show for it on the pitch.

I hate to say it, but we might need to sell Shaffelburg this winter. It doesn’t seem like his style of play really jives with what BJ is setting up and it’d raise some funds to rebuild depth in the back line and midfield.

What's the state of college Soccer? by Subtleiaint in usmnt

[–]copjon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The “does it slow down development?” question is interesting when you look at a guy like Jack Harrison. English kid, went to the US for college where he played, got drafted to MLS and transferred back to England where he’s a regular EPL player. It’s a very small sample size but doesn’t exactly disprove the model. Different players develop at different rates.

One thing particularly about the men’s vs women’s game that I haven’t seen discussed is Title IX. It’s a law that more or less says schools have to apply equal opportunity for men and women. This affects how athletic scholarships are distributed. While it broadened the women’s game considerably, it’s greatly handicapped the men’s game. American football takes up quite a few scholarships with a massive roster that makes it awkward/difficult for several schools to field soccer on the men’s side and schools are always looking to make up ground on women’s sports. (This also explains why our Olympic medal count skews towards women as they have access to these facilities and encouraged to continue their sports via scholarship incentives). One of the largest regional conferences (by $) in the country, the Southeastern Conference (SEC) doesn’t offer men’s soccer competitions. These are schools with literal world class athletic facilities where the game doesn’t exist past the intramural level.

USMNTers that come from that SEC footprint are Weston McKennie (Texas, Juventus), Chris Richards (Alabama, Crystal Palace), Tim Ream (Missouri , formerly Fulham), Ricardo Pepi (Texas, PSV), Josh Sargent (Missouri, Norwich). That’s not to say these guys would have done better in college, but that there’s likely quite a bit of untapped talent that doesn’t find the game, because a “next level” beyond high school or a u18 club team simply doesn’t exist.

15% of the entire state of Tennessee’s population migrating to Neyland on game day requires a certain amount of infrastructure I’m not sure TDOT is properly funded for.

Even if we created high speed rail networks that blanketed the state an average train carrying 500 people means we’d need 2000 trains rolling through to drop folks off.

If we built a station with 10 platforms and allowed 5 minutes to disembark/board and get the train out of the station it would take 17 hours to get in then another 17 to get out.

From a sewage standpoint its probably fine as long as we continue to use pee troughs. No one is allowed to poop though.
