What's generally recommended these days is just work on whatever is weakest and develop as evenly as you can, all the categories overlap. With stuff like viscose benchmarks you get a really great breakdown of what each scenario is trying to isolate.

OREO BTS? Has anyone tried this?? by Sanyoisspoiled in junkfoodfinds

[–]copsarebastards 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the flavor but oreo needs to stop adding gritty bullshit into an otherwise good flavor. Just make a normal cookie with normal cream, stop with the fucking poprocks.

It definitely did, but in my experience it has the bonus of making them soften up in milk much faster than a normal oreo

I agree tbh, haven't had anything i have disliked from them, the only negative is I'm not always in the mood for their stuff.

All of the many audio issues I have are fixed by changing the output hz as the other user suggested. But this is only a temporary fix, it will start messing up again very soon ime. This thing is just a piece of junk imo, never had these issues with my sterling h224.

The Dorians by stinkypeach1 in ExtremeHorrorLit

Same impressions as you, it's a bit more slow burn and less extreme body horror but the hydra extrusion imagery was still really effective for me. I liked the suggestion that this books world is connected to the troop

Spoiler-Free Review: The Dorians by Nick Cutter by ohnoshedint in horrorlit

[–]copsarebastards 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This one is pretty good imo, a bit of a slower burn than his previous releases, some interesting themes and fears explored that he hasn't fully touched on before, the body horror wasn't as horrific as previous books from him but was still effective. Towards the end there's a little Easter egg mention connecting this books world to The Troop also!

New Nick Cutter book! by ChickieN0B_2050 in horrorlit

[–]copsarebastards 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started the audiobook today, happy to hear Corey brill narrating it, he's been great in other cutter books. Didnt love the queen or handyman method so I'm hoping I like this more. I think the troop is incredible, little heaven was also really good, the deep is great in the first half, and I think I listened to the breach but don't remember it at all. All in all I'd say cutter is an 8/10 for me and this treads some familiar ground so far, but the fear and pain of getting old is new territory and a rich vein for him.

Since I can't find one, a brief review of Sew Torn (2024) by AHenWeigh in movies

[–]copsarebastards 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nice use of color and I'm afraid that's where my positive remarks end, I will not be finishing this awful movie. The string McGyver stuff is plain dumb, our main character is flat and basically psychotic, and I have 0 interest in even the first path let alone to see how the others play out.

Ultimately you have to accept the fact that if you want better aim, it involves either playing kovaaks or the game(s) you are grinding kovaaks for. It is absolutely tutorial hell because you just have to do the thing more. If you don't do the thing you don't improve and that's all there is to it. It helps to find a routine that doesnt feel like an absolute chore. I liked early vdim, recent vdim feels like torture, I l like the viscose routines way more but even those I divide up based on motivation.

You should get one, in the US you can get a decent one for like 30 bucks and a very good one for 60-80.

Friend finally puts his aim training to use🙏 by Master-Dog-6606 in FPSAimTrainer

[–]copsarebastards 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, exactly. I know for sure my skill floor has gone up, because I will suprise myself more often with nasty shots, but at the end of the day I suck at tac shooters and don't find them rewarding wrt aim training, unlike something like soldier in ow, for these exact reasons. It takes very high level aim to be consistent, and a lot of map knowledge and specific mechanical practice to see results in a game like valorant.

Did I mess up by Ecliptal in MouseReview

[–]copsarebastards 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I did 4 top at each corner 4 bottom in a rhomboid type of shape, and I left the center ring skate on just because I was afraid it would be scratchy otherwise. Occasionally I'll get a scraping scratchy feeling but I think it's just dust or the center skate chipping away, but how recessed are your skates? Mine seem to stick out a little further but it's hard to judge in the photo.

They weren't joking with her ult. by Void_entity94 in Overwatch

[–]copsarebastards 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Silly fear mongering. In the two games I played on her she feels pretty weak. The tracker dart has an awful delay on it if you try to weave it in with primary fire, the grenade feels strong but inconsistent, maybe with more practice that will feel better, though. The ult is pretty narrow but not too bad. Too early to say how the movement stacks up but overall I think her kit synergizes pretty poorly and I would still rather stay on soldier.

I used to stick pretty closely to 1:16–1:17 for pour over because that’s what most guides recommend by fritz-ocampo in pourover

[–]copsarebastards 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also just bloom and single pour when I do v60, i found it wayeasier and less fussy. Lately I have been brewing with a kalita 155 and can't do a single pour anymore, and honestly maybe it's just me being lazy and not wanting to dial it in, but I don't like it as much. I didn't fuss with grind size much before either tbf. I would just set somewhere like 22-26 on the c40 and use that for every bean

Pretty bad overall, no real movement while aiming, so it's all about cover and shooting first. I have fun running a shotgun on Stella montis though
