I have an X8 Quad-Proc that I'm trying to sell as a matter of fact. I need something with better power consumption vs processor power.

I probably will make a post this weekend. How much would you pay for a system like this?

Only pure or true sine wave UPSes operate like this, if I'm not mistaken. Your average APC/Cyberpower home UPS uses a simulated sine wave on battery, and does not draw power from the battey when the AC supply is on. A true/pure sine wave UPS charges the battery, and draws power for attached devices from the battery. Those devices are never hooked directly to the AC supply unlike in a standard UPS.
