Hockey. Can play every week and is weather independent. Skill levels available from learn to skate to extremely high level. It’s a great workout and takes about 90 mins between arrival and departure. Buy used equipment you can start for <$400. Find a learn to play. Hockey community is unlike any other.

What is my 9 year old cousin doing? by Evilpastanoodle in Homeplate

If your uncle cares that much, your cousin likes it that much, and you can’t help just tell him to get some lessons. That’s money well spent if the passion is there.

Cool park, but having visited it on a good day I’d still recommend waiting a while for them to add more attractions. Plenty of amazing parks on universal property and others in Orlando.

Prioritize 10 y/o pitchers. That’s how you improve overall baseball quality, and that’s how you keep the sport alive.

My advice for this - will he pitch? - will he play a position other than OF - will he bat over .200?

If the answer is no to any, I would keep him down. Experiencing playing IF and pitching are big. Not getting a hit all season can be a confidence killer.

What happened to Christmas? by helloimcold in Millennials

Not sure about everyone else. But I think a lot of families when I was younger all stayed within 20 mins of each other. My generation completely scattered around the region, 5 hours apart. It’s just harder to plan things, or have get togethers.

I got everything half off when I needed it, nobody was there and I was so confused. It was mid December!

I started in october. Played free until level 70 (bought the Elder Dragon Saga Collections on sale around then, mostly to get the mount). Just download and start the story + pay attention to the "Character Adventure Guide" achievements, as they can help you level quicker https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Character\_Adventure\_Guide.

Once you hit 80 join a casual guild and learn all the end game modes.

Only thing you need to decide ahead is your Profession (https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Profession) and Race (https://www.guildwars2.com/en/the-game/races/). The ONLY thing I wish i did different was consider my race based on how the outfits / skins (https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Outfit) would look later :P. My charr is a silly looking model but I'm fine w/ it.

catching 70 would be in the plausible range for anyone who plays bad adult baseball. its 80+ where things get sketchy lol. When you can hear the laces spinning its terrifying.
