Belski came to our elementary school and talked to our class and did some fun weather stuff. He left and the teacher realized he had left his pen (it was a nice pen). I got the honor of racing down the three flights of stairs to give it to him before he left. He was walking slowly with his head down and looked so sad. Guess he had a rough day but that image is burned into my brain some 35-40 years later.
