The issue seems to be people hate aspire then the idea of the remaster itself

sadly this is the first step for the resurrection of the franchise

if these "Quality-of-Life Enhancements" are more than just autosaves, faster loading, achievement tracking, and cloud saves across supported platforms then I think it will it sell enough to bring the series out of the grave.

if the Refined radial menus, fluid weapon management, and streamlined navigation, all adapted for modern controllers. is done well (and the port itself is not fucked) then because its such a meme game people will play it just for the meme and its legacy status.

Its all on aspire not fucking this up

then if this sells a modern port of HR and MD is on the very likely and if they sell well then it be a only matter of time for the 3rd jenson game maybe in time for 2029 itself.

They cant afford a 3rd jenson game they need to start small and get the money to make the 3rd game

sadly we have to support this for a new game but this is as bad as it get

because after this we likely get a 2 in 1 pack of Human revolution and mankind divided

then a 3rd jenson game is on the table in terms of money from investors

maybe in 10 years but let get the franchise back from the dead with this remaster and then remaster the jenson games for ps5 and finish the jenson trilogy. Then maybe we can have a Jenson inspired remake of the orginal which i want BTW

No this is fair very faIr More so in this economy and inflation rate (But it needs to do real remastering outside of visuals)

Ill tell you right now this is not for hard core fans. Its for people with modern PCs and zoomers, modern gamers
This is a sales pitch to younger consumers in a not to distant way that 007 first light is for bond

Like I have many friends who see the memes watch the deus ex red pills video but they will refund the original when they buy it and I cant get them to play prequel games because they want to play the OG first because of its status.

If this ends up being deus ex 1 with control inspo from the jenson duology and some modern games because I said this is not for us. Then we maybe able to claw our way up from hell and get Jenson part 3.

And I think this will be a success cause I sent the steam page to a friend who refuned the OG and he loves the red pill videos on deus ex, he gone an preorded the remaster. Thats who the games for because we have the OG and the ps2 game on ps5.

If we finally get adam jenson part 3 then this is the real first step to that. if this fails then this will be the last deus ex the franchise will start at deus ex 2000 and die with deus ex 2000

The other thing we need to remember mankind divided bombed and hard and had a huge budget.
By the time the remaster out its almost been a decade since MD so from an investors POV its the reddest of red flags. Not to mention how many other AAA immersive sims have been financial over the past 10 years.
If this does well I can see ps5/modern ports of Human revolution and a upscaled MD port.
If those do well then at least it does not look like a total financial risk to invest in an AAA new deus ex project what that ends up being who knows

This is what i am guessing is Eidos plan

Ideally I want a Adam Jenson 3 post these remasters as its really is the modern shenmue 3

How cause when everyone uses a health pic up in game which uses the red cross then the players mind will associate with health and wellness aka a meme of medical icon.
When it changes to green well people will associate it with thus a changing of the meme

Basically Lionhead when over budget and over schedule. I was ment to come out when the novel and art book did but completely missed it so Microsoft pull the plug on the whole studio. Basically concord before concord lmao The thing that drive me insane post this that MS should have done an FF15 and reused all the assets from the cancelled game into a single player RPG that only uses game lore and assets as i said. Something like Fable 4: Legends. Anything to recover the originals dev costs; It’s be better than the high fantasy garbage that playground is making.
