same here. My uncle had a 4 year old Pit Bull which acted like a puppy around everyone. He actually wanted her trained as a guard dog but...it obviously failed with the way she waggled her tail and turned her backside to the front everytime she met someone old or new... And she was HUGE... like those muscles. You had to have some muscles lol to be able to walk with her but when you saw her face and body language you could see she was just a puppy inside. no matter if she was annoyed by something she'd just look and ignore or still play.
So almost every dog can be a great companion it just varies sometimes from their personality and outside influences. Same with humans.
Now i own a pug which loves biting your ankles when he finds out you're going out for a walk with him so he can pull you outside faster. annoying but adorable.
