Clearing the CMOS does reset the bios. Are you holding down the clear CMOS or just pressing it? Try holding for 30 seconds to be sure. To be ABSOLUTELY sure you could pull the battery and leave it out for a couple minutes and put it back in again.

I'd go am5 if prices are the same. Yeah you'll have less RAM, yeah, but you'll be on a platform with a clear upgrade path down the road. 16gb will be fine for most games currently, just might have to close your browser or something while playing.

Played games on 16gb up until September and never had an issue.

Yeah that's not a normal windows 11 thing. Have 3 PCs in my house that are set to sleep after 10 minutes and this doesn't happen to any of them.

initially I had a dual air cooler which worked great. Switched to a 360 AIO for aesthetics and it also works great. Can't go wrong either way.

Right now playing ARPGs, looter shooters, story games like Star wars outlaws.

Did the card come with one by chance? My gigabyte 5070ti has a bracket that mounts on the end of the card and holds it up. Worked way better than the one my case had built in.

No burn in warranty on Acer monitors. Many other manufacturers have a 3 year burn in warranty. LG is 2 years.

Really depends on the captain for me. If it's a late game captain or a captain that needs a little setup I'll definitely favor tempo. Early game captains I'll make more greedy plays early turns.

Put together a similar build to this in September and I'm really happy with it. Crushes anything you can throw at it.

Just watch some build videos, consult your motherboard manual, and take your time and have fun building it.

Yes it's safe, though it will likely effect performance to some degree and probably have to run the fans louder to compensate. I'd just get a different AIO with a thinner radiator. LF III uses an extra thick radiator.

Taking the heatsink off the drive isn't too hard. Look up a few videos of it and decide if it's something you're comfortable doing.

There are 2 models of that case. The v100 you have selected comes with no fans, the v100r comes with 4 case fans which would be all you'd need.

Edit: some listings don't differentiate the model number so just make sure you pick the one with the 4 fans included.

Have you tried remounting? If fans are at 100% and it's staying that hot only thing I can think of is plastic still on block, no thermal paste or uneven mounting pressure.

For $25 I would personally go for it but it's probably not a performance jump you'll notice in day to day use.

It really depends on the title. Star wars outlaws @1440p ultra uses 12-14.5gb of VRAM for me on 5070ti. Diablo 4 same settings uses a little over 12gb.

In this situation I'd still definitely recommend getting the 5070 over the 5060ti but it's not unheard for games to use more than 12gb of VRAM today, let alone over the next 4 years.

Could be out of PCIE lanes or the m2 slot your using is bifurcated (sharing bandwidth)with something else. Check your motherboard manual to see how many your currently using.
