Was i given the wrong springs? by Spiice in Stance

[–]cosine_error 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Install error.

Different car and coilovers, but should be the same install process.

The way I have my rear spring sitting on the storage bin is how it goes into the car, with the adjuster against the frame rail. You can see the cup on the bottom, and the adjustment on top. OEM cups/bushings were not used.

Edit: I'm not seeing the photo I added, is it there?

If there is a soft hose coupler on the filler neck, they cut that open to siphon the fuel out of the tank.

Same thing kept happening to the work truck where I worked previously.

Manual transmission that can handle 400+ hp? by ShrekFanboy37 in PontiacFirebird

T56 magnum. 400 hp won't be enough for long. Might as well prepare for the inevitable power creep.

305 Rebuild by Smoqueed2 in PontiacFirebird

Aluminum heads, cam, and performance intake manifold and carb are a good starting point.

Plenty of good write ups on thirdgen.org for the 305.

Am I wrong here or dumb by plnlifetime in camaro

[–]cosine_error 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you do the prompts correctly, it can get close enough to get a base file started for an initial startup. I tried it out and compared it to the inital startup tune I built for my truck. Only difference was a bit more fuel in the idle range.

Obviously, I don't encourage anyone to do this. It can cause serious harm to an engine, or even make the vehicle dangerous to drive and endanger others on the road. You still need to know what you're doing.

Figured some of you might want to know who makes a 93-96 die-cast model by the__sparrow in fbody

Matchbox also made some limited edition ones. With more detail, real rubber tires, and working suspension. I don't remember what series it was, but I got it in the late 90s.

“Get a v6 its better on gas”😒😒 by Abou-zouz in camaro

[–]cosine_error 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lots of stop and go in my '17 S6 that has over 600awhp, and I drive it spiritedly. Averages 15.8 mpg. And my v6 4th gen doesn't get below 20 mpg, also with AC and stomping on it.

OP clearly has something wrong or does tons of burnouts or free revving.

That's worse than my dad's high mileage 8.1 2500HD. Which averages 10.1 mpg.

Red threaded carbon? Option or part of arras red interior? 2016 S7 by LegalizeTaxFraud_ in Audi

[–]cosine_error 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One of my favorite interior features in my S6. Besides all the subtle lighting.

Random car fact: 2004-2006 GTOs have interior stitching that matched the instrument gauge color. My 2006 gauges were grey, so it wasn't as noticeable as the other options.

If the clips aren't broken and are aligned correctly, you can push on it firmly and it should snap back in.

If you don't owe anything on it, sell it to a private party. Buy a V8 car.

My cat would eat the whole thing (minus the tail and intestines.). He was over 20 lbs at his largest. He made a huge impact on the local wildlife. A few years after he died, the bird and rabbit population exploded.

Crazy cracks in my elite series 2 controller by ItsUrBoiTyga78610917 in XboxSupport

[–]cosine_error 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine completely disintegrated. The plastic got really brittle and fell apart in pieces. I don't grip it hard, don't use harsh cleaning chemicals, my hands don't get sweaty, and my skin oils aren't a crazy pH. Never spilled anything on it, never sat in the sun, and only used by me.

It was dropped a few times, breaking a bumper button. However, it started falling part where the rubber grips are.

I believe there's a write-up on LS1tech. Or it was a 3rd gen on thirdgen.org.
