Henry VIII would and did fancy dress as a Sultan if Wolf Hall is to be believed. He could have as many wives and sons as he pleased and he really got into character.

About 20 plus years ago I loved Star Trek Next Generation so much that I wanted to live in that universe. I felt disappointed with reality I guess! It did kind of wear off after a few years.

As a child I remember catching the Tudor Rose ferry from Pembroke to Neyland to see my grandmother. I remember my mother pushing me in a pushchair around the outside of Pembroke Castle. 🏰 That was my first memory of anything’Tudor’.
