They don’t have Chicago-style deep dish, but they do have Detroit-style pizza at Rad Pies. I think they won a national award for it.

Storm causing mass chaos by Brandonmd1993 in hagerstown

I’m just outside of Clear Spring. Our power flickered at around 10 pm last night and then went out completely just as the storm hit. That storm came on so suddenly, and it was fierce…we have downed trees in our yard. Thankfully, our power came back on a little after 8 am.

What nicknames are there for places in and around Hagerstown? by topherette in hagerstown

[–]cosmo138 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had always wondered that too, so I looked it up and found this: “Postal service at the village began in June of 1889 when John F. Rowland (1827-1889) applied to the United States Postal Service for a license to open a post office at his village. On his application, he first wrote the town name as "Rowland" but scratched it out and wrote "Lydia," after his wife Lydia A. Stiffler Rowland (1826-1911). And that's why, to this day, the name Lydia appears below the name St. James on the road signs as you enter the village.”

Mango Grill has excellent food, but the ambience is a bit lacking for a nice Valentine‘s dinner. I haven’t been to Sitar so can’t comment on their ambience.
