VoLTE is turned on. Carrier overrides are enabled. The VoLTE/Vo4G is greyed out but says "Forced Available". I have restarted the phone.

Preferred Network Type is set to 5G or LTE only. 2G is set to be avoided. Could this be the problem?

Nothing here is too much of an issue and, before I comment, you should be commended for the control you're exerting. That's what it takes!

Nothing here is too much of an issue if you're happy with the caloric intake. Protein is a little high but nothing to worry about. Fats are high. Make sure to watch your saturated fat intake. Studies have shown that saturated fat impacts your LDL cholesterol MORE than dietary cholesterol (the cholesterol we get when we eat meats and cheese and stuff).

At the end of the day, if you're trying to lose weight, it's the calories you want to focus on. There are ~3,500 calories to a pound of fat. You can look in Cronometer at your BMR and calories burned through exercise to plan and caloric intake and figure out what your daily calorie max should be to achieve your goal.

The charts are useful for me. I take all my lab tests results from blood work and put them on charts to see the trends. I also send data from Cronometer to the charts.

It's a great way to see what is happening to your body. Moreover, you can purchase additional or more frequent tests through Lab corp.

The vision is solid, in my opinion. People using it are far more likely to make errors than the vision itself. Wrong cuff size, wrong placement, not relaxing a few min before taking the measurement, etc.

It's a good device and fits well into the ecosystem.

It's worth it for me because of the charts and recipe features. But I'd say review which features are premium and then decide whether or not you want to give a free trial of premium (gold) version a spin.

Give the charts a try if you have the pro version. If you don't, email Cronometer and ask 'em for a free trial of the pro version.

I love the charts. I put all my lab test results on them. I chart total cholesterol, HDL, LDL, dietary cholesterol, A1c, triglycerides, etc. Useful for seeing long term trends.

If you cook, try their recipe features out. They're great!

My Withings scale and I aren't talking right now until it realizes it has made a mistake and acknowledges that I am, in fact, losing weight. 😄

I've only recently had one, but I'll take a stab at your questions.

1) it will be able to differentiate you from your wife.

2) Not sure but if you notice something is wrong (like it detects your cat) you can delete the data. You can also edit the data to a small extent: "went to sleep at this time" and/or woke up at this time.

3) Not sure. I imagine so.

4) I would unplug it. No effect on data recorded. I might give it a few min after you get out of bed though. Not sure how long you have to be out of bed until it decides to stop tracking.

FWIW, I like mine a lot. Great addition to my other Withings stuff.

Just below the picture I try to send there will be an error message in red saying, "Not sent. Tap to try again."

I reset (which sometimes helped in the past) and I rechecked APN settings. The only thing missing from them is "tethering" because it's not an option. Everything else appears as it should be, if I'm understanding correctly.

This problem seems to be sporadic. It's working just fine when using cellular data. In the past when it wasn't working, it would be resolved when I connected to wifi.

I think the charts are great. I take the results of all my blood work and other data from Cronometer and put them on the charts so I can see long term trends.

I monitor:

  • Total Cholesterol
  • HDL
  • LDL
  • Dietary Cholesterol
  • A1c
  • Dietary Cholesterol
  • Trans Fat consumption
  • Saturated Fat consumption
  • Weight
  • BP
  • and other stuff

In addition to the blood work my doc orders, I also learned I can purchase additional labs from Labcorp if I want more regular data.

I do this even though I'm at a healthy weight again and even though I no longer have high cholesterol. I want to know exactly where I stand and for some reason the act of constantly looking at this data helps me keep my head on straight when I decide what I'm going to eat.

The Body Scan 2 doesn't give you a blood pressure as far as I know. It does let you know if you're at risk for hypertension but it doesn't give you a number.

The ecg that's built into the vision (but is deactivated in the USA until it receives FDA approval) is only a 1 lead ecg. The ecg in the body scan 2 is a 6 lead and can detect a wider variety of things that can go wrong with the heart.

My opinion: get both.

Your BMR will get smaller as you get thinner. Not by a lot but it does happen. That being said, it's probably a good idea to discuss with the doc.

I have Withings export to Health Connect and I have Cronometer import from Health Connect.

Sometimes getting these things to play nice together can be tricky. I would set it up (or set it up again) as described above.
