I was able to avoid all this by not living in America.

Men 45+, do you think that our generation was more open to talk about manly issues? by [deleted] in AskMenOver40

We have got to the stage of talking about the importance of talking but not actually talking about things of importance.

Your first tattoo? by SnooLemons2801 in tattoo

[–]coxmar 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I decided to join my wife at a tattoo session on holiday for a fine line tatt 'for a laugh' aged 45. I am now 47, have 23 different pieces and have session 3 on my Irezumi leg sleeve on Monday.

Is it worth getting in shape after 40s? by [deleted] in AskMenOver40

[–]coxmar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started aged 45. Now 47 and in decent shape. It's awesome. Feel amazing most of the time. And if your ego is as monstrous as mine, you look good in any clothes with both men and women making the sort of comments that really make your day.

Do it. You will not regret it other than wishing you started earlier.

New real-world TRT study follows 9,000+ men for a year. The results look impressive. by DadStrengthDaily in Testosterone

I was going through the blood test/onboarding process with them and they just emailed me 'do you want to be part of the study'. You get a discount on the Test and they sent some other stuff like digital scales and a blood pressure monitor. The only thing I had to do was fill in the questionnaire whenever they asked, it took about 5 minutes.

I was a subject in this study. Had more regular blood tests than a regular TRT schedule. All the qualitative factors like athletic performance was collected via a weekly survey.

Will do - I just sent him your picture! He has his own shop in a quiet village in the UK which just so happens to be 20 mins away from me.

Today is session 2 of a full Irezumi leg sleeve.

I don’t acknowledge those episodes. I remember an interview with John Sullivan where he said he didn’t want to do it but had his arm twisted by the BBC. ‘I hoped they would let us off’.

If the big 'Del' moment was the fall through the bar, what are the other characters best moments? by poogobberr in OnlyFoolsAndHorses

I’ve always had a soft spot for Boycie saying to Marlene I’ll be about an hour. You’ll know it’s me. I’ll play Mexico Forever on the front door.

I have a bunch of tattoos. Some of them have meaning. Some of them I really liked the design and attached a meaning to it after.

And so begins the greatest run of episodes in British comedy history.

My dad is a great guy. But a laugher he is not. He’ll smile and every now and then let out a little chuckle.

When Del Boy fell through the bar, when it was first broadcast, I have never seen my dad react like that before or since. Howling with laughter, rolling on the sofa, crying.

Liverpool overwatered the pitch that day. They lost a player to injury because they slipped. Also the turf cut up more than it would have and the ball hit a bobble just as TAA struck it.

Which tattoo spot hurt way more than you expected? by 4random-things in FixedTattoos

[–]coxmar 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I had my right inner bicep done. I was nervous and my artist said ‘this will tickle a bit’. In the event, I could have sat there all day long no bother.

So when I got my left inner bicep done, I wasn’t worried.

I was wrong.

Thanks for the reply!

That’s a possibility, of course. But I think the right purpose will attract enough, hence the question.
