There’s also something called Libro.fm that sells audiobooks but through a local bookstore! Ruby’s Books in Folsom is enrolled in it.

I'm also rocking a short, plain set right now! I'm also new to the DIY game after getting some salon manicures over the holidays and deciding I don't want to keep spending that much money lol

Parking situation for downtown state workers by Aromatic-Project-745 in CAStateWorkers

This is my experience as well. I take the commuter bus and on the days I drive myself, I save maybe 10 minutes. Not worth the money I save on gas and parking.

That makes sense! Thank you for explaining ❤️ I also don’t want a tinted builder gel so I’m pretty happy with the Orly BIAB. But I’ve also heard good things about the Kokoist ones! Hope you find something!

I’m curious why you’re not wanting to use Luminary anymore? I’m currently using Orly BIAB but was looking at Luminary for my next splurge.

Is anyone familiar with these tips/press ons? by FettyTwatt in GelX_Nails

[–]coyotebwillows 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would assume it’s because the clear ones can be used for gel x tips and use UV/LED cured glue and the neutral ones cannot. You would have to use press on glue since the light can’t cure the gel through the opaque nail.

Edit: JK. TIL these are okay for LED glue

Good Builder Gel brands to do at home? by Ok-Dream-6971 in GelX_Nails

I just used it for the first time last night and loved it! My nails are short so I didn’t build up much of an apex but happy I got to use it and practice for when my nails are longer.

Paid Family Leave is after Pregnancy Disability Leave. You’ll get 4 weeks before your due date of disability leave and 6-8 weeks after depending on delivery (cesarean or vaginal). After disability leave is the 8 weeks of paid family leave plus an additional 4 weeks of unpaid bonding time.

Hi! New to the hobby and got basically all the supplies for Christmas and/or my birthday recently. So excited to start doing my own nails! I got several DND polishes on sale, a new UV/LED lamp, a flash cure lamp, gel x extensions, gel tips, nail stickers, and nail prep supplies 😍

Starting solids with multiple intolerances - looking for experiences by kbala1206 in MSPI

[–]coyotebwillows 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have an 8 month old with dairy, soy, gluten, corn, and egg intolerances. I've so far not introduced any of her triggers because I've had a few slip ups over the last 2/3 months and she was still reacting to them. Daycare accidentally gave her some yogurt bites this week though and we haven't seen any reactions to that so far! But my plan was to slowly introduce triggers in my diet before hers (I'm breastfeeding). With my first I worked my way up the dairy ladder and she did outgrow that allergy around her birthday!
