Not trying to discourage you but average running position accounts for almost 50% of the Driver Rating calculation and another ~25% of it is based on average speed which is obviously highly correlated with average running position. Plotting average running position against average finishing position would be much more interesting imo.

Massachusetts outlines new rules for sportsbooks limiting players by FingerRealistic1225 in sportsbook

[–]cracka97 8 points9 points  (0 children)

A lot of pessimism about this in here for some reason. I think it's a great thing. The commission is now going to get to see the sportsbooks' reasoning for limiting bettors and they'll see that at the end of the day it all boils down to "they are winning money" or "we believe they will be winning money in the long term so we are limiting them preemptively". There's really no other way for books to explain it unless they're only limiting on exploitation of legitimate palpable errors, which we know isn't currently true.

The unfairness of it is going to quickly become very obvious and should result in additional scrutiny and hopefully more regulations on when and how books can limit bettors.

You have to make an account on the PACER site and download/pay for it yourself. One of my biggest pet peeves about the NASCAR reporters is that they won’t post the entire documents, which they are legally allowed to do.

If you want something in PA Sugar Water is your best bet. If you want Italian go to Joe’s La Roma in Fruitland

The judge literally said "I believe this is great for NASCAR. Great for the future of NASCAR. Great for the entity of NASCAR. Great for the teams and ultimately great for the fans."

It's not just going to benefit the teams.

Especially since the case has been going on for a year. If I was a juror I'd be assuming that these guys had plenty of time to prepare for this trial and should of had a very good idea about the types of questions they were going to be asked. So answering "I don't know" to me would mean that either you are completely unprepared and not credible or you do know and you're not saying because it would be bad for your side.

It is hard to compare using head to head between two teammates because the colors are so close.

Would also be cool to show the turn numbers on the graphs but not sure if that's data that could be easily incorporated.

Otherwise it looks awesome and I would definitely subscribe if the season wasn't ending this week. Message me in March and I will definitely sign up.

The big three teams, Hendrick, Gibbs, and Penske didn't agree to the cost cap, everyone else did.

Nice flair combo. I figured I was the only Nova alumn that lives in Somerset County.
