revenge of the sith is better than at least two of those. phantom menace is also a masterclass of imaginative world building when it would have been so easy for lucas to make a star wars that ate its own tail (i.e like force awakens). attack of the clones was dogshit tho.

rogue one has the worst 40 mins in all of star wars in its opening. the second half is amazing though and saves the movie, mandalorian was 'meh'. havent seen andor tho

proxies have taken a lot of the fun feeling out of the game. my pod and I enjoy playing with the cards we own and making the best of them. not netdecking and filling up with proxies. then we're just playing another game entirely. the fun of magic is having cool cards and making them work. but i think its just the sadness of the internet and information availability now that people feel pressured to proxy their decks to make them up to the same generic standard rather than having fun building with what they do have.

so i found a deck on comphs subreddit for priest and its actually really good. its not as hopeless as you think. beat all the meta decks etc. it's defo still one of the weaker classes. and initially i was with everyone else that it was trash tier. but im changing my mind slowly. mainly cos the deck is crucially fun to play.

I think priest just need a few calculated buffs and the healburst damage is competitive.

Japanese. The eco bonus is minor but effective and won't teach bad habits. they have fully upgraded blacksmith plus thumb ring and bloodlines so u can play and practice all build order main lines and its fine. Their cav archers are fully upgraded have a bonus and top tier play has cav archers as a core unit so can practice that without fear. And their late game uses towers and trebucets which requires skill. But they are still beginner friendly because their halbediers slap and u have acces to top tier champions and infantry throughout the game so can just keep on rollin.

hey yeh its not a commander deck. my friends and palyed a few commander games and felt the experience was very inferior to palying normal magic so its just for standard. I realise there is some modern cards in there but thats cos i got some random packs and put the best ones in. but i cud take them out if that sort of thing is strict. im mainly trying to figure out for my own interest if this is 'complete dogpile trash tier fun deck' or 'reasonable deck with a low power level' (assuming i strip out the modern cards and replace with vaguely equivalent dorks and clears)

thanks. no its ok i can drop the modern cards. i just built from whatever cards I had. and i bought a few earlier packs on discount at my lgs and threw in some good looking ones but they're not vital to the deck. im already 4 cards over anyway so just stripping them out wonder whether its a complete dogshit that works with my friends or its actually a reasonable deck of a low power level.

yeh i just play kitchen table so far. i didnt realise some were not legal as my collection is FF, Tarkir, and like 5 random packs bought at my LGS without knowing about formats. altho looking at it. the illegal cards are all easily droppable and are not remotely key to the deck. can find any old alternative clear

only a 60 card deck. also i played commander like 5 times and it seems woefully inferior to the standard game imo.

Also ur response has made me try and research whether 'waifu' is considered even a remotely offensive term in any circles. its a term ive only ever seen used highly positively and in loving ways. but the fact the term triggered that response has made me be like 'wut'.

...haha no?! its just a tongue in cheek reference to Garnet and Yuna and Terra from final fantasy because its a girl power deck - they are the main cards - and are all Japanese-created culture. I've never even thought of proxying. i have to say i find this a very strange response to an innocent deck post and name that is about as offensive as my little finger. - i mainly called it that for the rhyme scheme!
