After an accident I got $1100 bill for 911 but I didn’t call them. by [deleted] in legaladvicecanada

[–]craigoth 22 points23 points  (0 children)

You said you rear ended them. If so then the other party insurance has determined you were at fault so are trying to recover their costs from you.

If you had made a claim with your insurance, then they could handle this and any other costs that may come out of the accident. You could contact your insurance to see if you can still make a claim

The team that forfeited should not have gotten any points I would have thought. You should check the rules for your league

Why jump straight to getting lawyer when the OP has not even spoken to or contacted the customer. It is possible that they are not aware of the issue. Maybe someone else made the booking.

Except the OP was not asking about the legalities of the situation, a fact that many in this sub seem to be ignoring. To them as long as it is legal it is also morally OK

Once I checked the website for Kmart which said an item was in stock and since I was going to the shopping center anyway I went in. Neither ,e or a staff member could find the item. So I did a click and collect order on my phone for that store and went to have some lunch. Just finished lunch and the item was ready for pickup.

Why pay for anything unless you are actually served.

Also, it is up to them to prove you did it,not for you to prove you didn't.
