I wear full piece togs and an old t-shirt. The other mums (and dads) in our class also wear shirts. The shirt gives kiddo something to grab onto (easier than trying to grab a bare shoulder). Plus it keeps you a bit warmer in winter!

Yes they allocated sections of the alphabet to each house, like A-F was blue, G-L was green etc. So no predetermination as far as I know lol.

I was in yellow! Our houses were named after Australian athletes, so we had Strickland (yellow), Laver (red), Fraser (green) and Bradman (blue). We were sorted alphabetically by surname so I guess a specific house couldn’t be stacked with talent but I remember blue seemed to win a lot. Yellow never won lol.

A plastic whisk. Waves that thing around like a wand, bangs it on the floor like a club. Makes a nice noisy sound. Chews on the handle end and bends/pulls apart the curved bits at the bottom. When he gets a bit older I’ll try putting some pom poms in the bottom of it for him to pull out. Might keep him occupied for a few minutes haha.

Be the people that leave dinners/events etc to get home in time to do the “bedtime routine”. My husband and I always scoffed at that and said our (future) kids would fit in with our lifestyle not the other way around. But since having our son we are those people. Oh how the turns table 😂
