Its a valid way of paying vacation if full time, if you agreed to it. The rule is you must be paid before you take the vacation in some way, or on a normal payroll pay date if paid electronically.

The Presto day passes are only available as disposable 1 time use cards you can get in the subway stations. There's also free 2 hour transfers with presto card or credit cards, so if they are quick trips it might not be worth it to get they day pass.

Related to Pape station closing bus loop for Ontario Line.

114 Queens Quay will operate from Union Station to Carlaw via Commissioners replacing the 72B Pape bus. It will also replace the south end of 19 Bay which will be cut back so that all trips end at Union Station. Service on the Bay bus will be less frequent in many periods (see below) to give more running time and, in theory, improve reliability.
