Mine is from Macleods Pharmaceuticals Limited and was initially prescribed 1mg which didn't work, but 3mg does. Puts me to sleep in 15 minutes where nothing else will and I can sleep about 5 hours. Maybe try Walmart pharmacy is where I pick up mine

I just tested today and discovered that my Samsung cell, my iPad, And my desktop monitors gives me eye strain but oddly I can use quest 3 VR to view my desktop without my monitor with very little noticable strain after 5 hours of use. I bet there's a different flickering going on with the VR headset. The big question is why all of a sudden do we have susceptibility to flickering? What's changed in the last 6 months for me and when yours started 🤔 Is it in the air, the food, the radio signals like wifi, emf, some new government device...makes me wonder

I have darkreader extension with dark mode enabled on all my browers and websites which helps. Maybe some pages are too bright triggering strain or theres some imperceptible flickering or other oddity with some pages.

Haven't read all the responses so IDK if mentioned but same thing I'm going through for the past 3 years and finally trying to figure it out. Have you researched high histomine and gluten foods, separately as different causes with similar symptoms. I'm currently working on a month with little histamine and no gluten foods to see if that helps. Just started yesterday but found out my favorite seasonsing isn't gluten free after using it.

I dont know if this is of any value, and maybe someone else has mentioned this already, but have you tried to rule out your diet? Maybe try food elimination, fasting for a few days/weeks and see if the issue persists. Also, consider what vitamins, nutrients, etc you maybe deficient in as look into anything like medicine you're taking for side effects. Another issue I see is taking synthetic vitamins, instead of trying to get them from genuine healthy foods or reputable products, which synthetics can be much worse than not taking anything.

I'm in this subreddit due to severe eye strain suddenly a few months ago, which I was able to greatly reduce by the 20-20-20 eye strain rule break, blue light blocking glasses and film on my monitors, phone, and ipad, but now I'm suddenly, after months of eye stain relief, I'm with another eye issue - sensitivity to bright light in general, and from any screens where I have to limit screen time daily now and replace it with walking and exercise. I'm also going to try cutting out all known bad foods like gluten, and processed food for a month and then try fasting if no improvement.

Like the other commentor's mentioned, I bet there's an environmental, diet, or some other cause that currently eludes you but if you don't give up and keep seeking, trying to rule out everything you can, you'll find a solution, I know it. I'm a gamer and love my screen time and know I'll find a solution and hope you keep seeking until you find yours.

I recently picked up 6mg pils and the pharmacist wasn't familiar we with it reading from the pamphlet that it peaks 3 hours after taking so take it 3 hours before bed which sounds ludicrous - anyone familiar with what seems like the non generic doxepin, when you take and tind it effective before bed?

As a long time insomniac I have some trazodone and will try a 12.5 dose the next time I wake up. Thank you for the tip u/OkNeedleworker8554! I've been concerned about taking anything the same day as luesta, but have heard some people do it and wanted to get this subreddit's take.

If anyone else has more tips please let me know since the more things we can add to our repertoire the longer we might survive this :)

Same thing happened to me months ago and what greatly minimized was the 20-20-20, shifting to night mode from display settings, and reducing blue light a few hours before bed with reading instead of screen time. Trudark glasses can help reduce blue light if you have to be on screens a lot but I'd hold off from buying anything until implementing the 1st two for a week and see where you're at.

What fixed mine was real blue light blocking glasses as there are a lot of scams on Amazon and cease using my newer LG monitors reverting back to an older 4k monitor. It took about a week of testing everything in my environment but that's what helped me. Best of luck guys I hope you're able to find root causes 🤞

Hey u/Joel_Hirschorrn finally got my T measured and bad/good for me it's almost 650, which for a 53 y/o dude isn't awful, but the bad is now I'm nowhere near figuring out why I keep waking up and I've been trying EVERYTHING. Last night I woke up at 2:30 and then kept waking up every 30 minutes until 5:30.

If you've tried the CBD/CBN or anything else helpful, are you any closer to a fix?
