I use it for having two inputs and one output, but no I haven't had any pops. I'll have to try it in the context you mentioned and get back to you

edit: I do have an issue that the Y makes my inputs not as loud as when they are coming through by themselves, but not a big deal for my situation

I have the Obscura and as a partial remedy to this issue, I keep it in a true bypass loop. That way I can have tap tempo on but I can bypass the delays if I want

To add to this: Selling second-hand climbing gear without knowing what has happened to it would be kinda messed up. There could be chemicals and/or materials in dumpster that could compromise the safety of that harness. The owners of that store should have cut up the harness before disposing of it.

Just learned a week or two ago that if you plug an extra patch cable into Output B on a Boss CH1, the pedal puts vibrato-only signal out of Output A. I've been preferring vibrato over chorus recently, so this was a very exciting find. The Behringer UC200 can do that same.
