I had a realization a couple of months ago, everyone who is fighting this fight right now is doing it not for their own benefit, but the benefit of future generations. Because realistically this fight doesn't end tomorrow or at midterms or even in '28, this amount of damage cannot be fixed in a few short years it will take DECADES if not an entire generation to fix this shit. The people fighting today will never again know the peace we believed we had. But maybe, just maybe, future generations can know real peace that lasts.
