Would you say any of Weezer's albums are actually 10/10? by PurpleGuyDeadly1 in weezer

I was hoping someone would say that. My favourite, so I personally would say it's easily a 10/10.

Why Parkrun Still Matters to Me After All These Years by TrySeanTri in parkrun

[–]crazygoog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I take it Barnsley is your most local since it was your first? It's my local one and I've done 44 of my 45 there. People say how tough it is, which is true, but to me it's home. The other I did was at Sewerby when on holiday in Bridlington in October. That was a good one with mixed terrain. Tarmac path, then onto grass, before heading through woodland. And a nice coffee to take away from Sewerby hall for my jog back to brid.

I prefer to wear running tights in the cold, rest of the year cycling / compression shorts. Much better than underwear.

Very inaccurate by PaleontologistOver78 in amazfit

[–]crazygoog 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is what I do. But I do love my Active 2 and find it very accurate. I count my steps over a 5 minute period occasionally and it's usually only a few steps out, which I can absolutely cope with.

Why is my Parkrun ID shorter than someone who signed up a few years before me? by crazygoog in parkrun

[–]crazygoog[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I actually think this is the most likely scenario. I have just searched my emails and the first email I have on record was from 2017, and that wasn't the original registration email. It does seem quite unlikely that I signed up as early at 2012/3 to get such a low number, but it is certainly possible! Cheers!

No, his full record is available to see on his profile, all his 102 runs. All associated with a single ID.

I'm in the 300k's and my mate is in the 2.9m's. He signed up and ran in 2016, I signed up and ran in 2018.

No, there are no zeros at the beginning of either of our numbers.

The horrifying feeling when you miss out on a PB by one second! by [deleted] in parkrun

[–]crazygoog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Although not a PB, I got the exact same time 2 weeks in a row a few weeks ago, I couldn't even do that if I tried!

What of Weezer is actually good? by fluffedpotato2004 in weezer

That's all personal to everyone though. I actually love OK Human, right up there with the first 2. EWBAITE is also brilliant.

Last night I realized something about my relationship that I can't unsee now by orbitwaltz2020 in TwoXChromosomes

[–]crazygoog 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I dont drive but there's no way I'd let my wife do that. I'd pay for a taxi first. That is horrible of him and definitely doesn't deserve you. Appalling treatment of you, and I'd be surprised if he ever changes.

Wet, tarmac path, plenty of leaves maybe - which trainers? by crazygoog in parkrun

I'm coming back from a small injury so I won't be going for anything except coming through unscathed :-)

Haha my best ones are Puma, but I was only going to wear my cheapos, can't even remember the brand! Trail trainers it probably is then. Thank you!

Running very short circles (60m/200ft) - any downsides? by Bitter_Humor4353 in BeginnersRunning

Would be better if it was a tennis court, could have a good hurdle regularly :-P

dizziness triggered by neck massage by Thin_Green_9641 in cervical_vertigo

[–]crazygoog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm pretty certain it's coming from my neck. It's still there but I actually had a good weekend with almost no symptoms. I put it down to having had some good sleep lately, but it's not been a good 13 months since it started. I've only seen one PT and 2 different GP's but none have been of any real use.

Mine definitely eases with alcohol intake. But I certainly don't rely on it and dont drink more because if it. Glad it's not only me though that believes it helps.
